Seriously, why doesn't this song get as much attention as Let It Go? It's got the same kind of melody and harmony, same piano introduction and buildup, and it's an epic empowerment song, only unlike Elsa, Rara isn't shutting out everyone she loves in the process of showing who she truly is inside. The Magic Inside is like Let It Go without the guilt and regret, which, if you ask me, makes this like an improved, more powerful version of the original song.

Once upon a time: I’ve never liked My Little Pony, I always thought of it as too girly for me to watch and that it was just like all those other kid shows in nick jr. but it was when I finally gave it a shot... is when it all change. I’ve never felt my heart softened so much when I saw the smile of Twilight Sparkle for the first time, I’ve never laugh at anything so hard except when I first watch this show. This show changed me and I can happily say I’m happy to be a Brony, I’m happy to be apart of the MLP community. Friendship forever!

This is my favorite Lena Hall song by far, especially considering the deeper meaning it has in the episode. She was saying if she sold out like her manger wanted her to she wold have lost herself her integrity and her magic. It's a song of victory over the excepted system of selling out.

I had been thinking it would be awesome if Daniel and a couple other people produced a fake 'Best of' album for Coloratura. It would feature things like an extended version of 'Razzle Dazzle' (which feels like it's missing a verse in the show) and a song that The Countess and Safire Shores worked on together (sort of like Lady Gaga and Beyonce). However 'The Magic Inside' would not be on there. That song, would also be the title track of the first album she had produced since firing Svengallop. In an episode that airs near the end of one season, Applejack and the CMC would receive a copy of the record, as well as tickets to see 'The Magic Tour.' In the episode where they receive the album and tickets, they would play at least one song from the new album (a more poppy synth sounding version of 'The Magic Inside'). I'm pretty sure Daniel and Lena would want to compose their own updated version for the official 'album' version. However there's no reason I can think of why this awesome remix couldn't be featured as one of the 'bonus tracks.' After that episode aired, a new tie in album would be released (featuring songs that were not featured in the episode). Later, in the following season (around episode 13 perhaps) we're treated to an episode that's comprised almost entirely of Lady RaRa singing her heart out (what I had to). Featuring songs from her 'Best of' album, and songs from 'The Magic Inside' the entire episode is set up to feel like a concert video. True enough it's incredibly abridged (since most major pop shows are at least an hour and forty minutes), but it's still awesome. The final hurrah, is a 'Live' album, that features the full concert (even the stuff that the 22 minute run time couldn't give us). In the live version of the show, Coloratura performs the original piano version of this song (which my head-cannon tells me she penned an hour or two before taking the stage in the episode where it first appeared). We'll probably never get something like that, but hay, I can dream can't I Luna?

Ok so I used to play Destiny 2 on PC and listen to YT mixes and such on Steam ingame web browser. I was in the trophy room thingie on the Leviathan, doing the quest for Bad Juju catalyst after getting the gun itself. I wasn't paying attention to the background music, I had kinda zoned in and out a few times, So I'm jumping and dodging, blasting Shadow Thralls, and suddenly i hear "But I am JUST A PONY!" And I just "wait what the fuck lmao okay whatever I guess"

This song is so nostalgia but also new too . It like the song make the boundaries between the old and the new dissapear . Rara really make the song become one of the best song thanks to her beautiful voice

You got the beat perfect! I couldn't imagine a remix of this with a house beat to it. I have two critiques of this though, the first being the intro, I just felt that it was too intense for the vocal section at that part. Secondly whilst the string section is fantastic, I thought that the original piano section (especially at the chorus) would have added a great underlying rhythm, either that or a bass line written in triplets. Otherwise i'm a big fan of this work, it's powerful and has a great impact, the solo is an interesting touch and develops very nicely towards the end! Awesome work!
