Cube also needs people to support his cause. Since he came out strong as an independent thinker, especially as it relates to topics affecting political positions, he’s being blacklisted real hard. The woke mob doesn’t let anyone think for themselves, and I’m so glad Cube is like f that. He’s seeing firsthand how many in the black community won’t support you if you go against the political machine.

I live overseas now and for years due to my job. I'm in Greece now and it's pure racism overseas but the dudes won't say it, they'll just ignore you or act up a little funny in the taxis until you correct there asses. I lived in Kuwait 10 years from Mahboulla to Salymiya. You can get alcohol in Kuwait if you know the right people because Arabics wild as hell and the Arabic women love us especially us darkskin Brothas. Bottom line overseas is dope once you figure it out and us darkskin Brothas can be Kings overseas once you figure it out. As for as catts playing ball overseas, just get a job because I know a few catts that quit there jobs to play ball. Get a job fellas and use your resources by learning the right people

My bro played in china for fujian and he said the same thing happened to him with racism. Got into it entering the arena before a game where fans was calling him the N****. That also wasn’t the first time and he was in the league before going to China. Lenny’s is not lying about the contract situation. Some dudes don’t get paid on time or at all and depending on the owner when playing certain teams you can get cash bonuses as well. Once again all depends on owner!!!

The Big 3 Season is in direct competition with the NBA sponsored WNBA. The Big 3 is also proves that true Basketball fans would rather watch retired NBA players than active WNBA players. For these reasons the NBA cannot support the Big 3 and has actively and passively taken steps to insure it's ultimate demise.

Call me crazy but Lavar Ball was a dangerous figure to the corporate structure regarding athletes and endorsement contracts. There’s a reason why he didn’t get the push he needed to make the Baller Brand successful. Having his own high quality product would undermine the power and influence companies like Nike, Adidas and others had over athletes.
@pattycakes1439
@pattycakes1439 Жыл бұрын
Lavar Ball was definitely a threat to the establishment. He was showing players how to brand themselves without the major companies getting most of the money. Stephon Marbury was a threat as well. He made more off his $15 sneakers than 95% of athletes get from Nike. Lavar Ball was dropping major jewels and showing guys that they could make bigger money without Nike. Which is exactly why he was being portrayed so horribly in the media, they had to discredit him. They even sent the house negros like Shaq to talk down on him. Lebron has gotten 200mil from Nike, while Nike has made 20billion off of him

Except his product isn’t quality, that’s why Lonzo kept getting injured in his own shoe and they kept falling apart in game

@pattycakes1439 Жыл бұрын
@@Lucciii32 First off this conversation wasn’t for you, this is a black economics discussion. But since u wanna be nosey, I”ll give u a few facts. The average pair of Nikes only cost $4 to make, then get shipped to the US and sold for hundreds. Every sneaker company uses the same materials from the same overseas sources. Lavar was showing athletes that they can make their own sneakers and sell them for the same marked up prices that Nike has been doing for years. Last I checked Lonzo has a knee injury. Only an idiot would blame a sneaker for the reason a player gets a knee injury. Especially when guys get career ending injuries wearing Nikes all the time. Somehow Nike doesn’t get blamed for those that. Only when a black man tries to sell his own sneakers does the sneaker get blamed for injuries

While in the Corps in 1988 or so myself and several black Marines had the nerve to walk into a "Chinese Only" restaurant in Hong Kong for dinner once That's like my parents walking into a "Whites Only" restaurant when the were growing up. It was my idea, but I couldn't help it. They wouldn't provide menus and we sat ourselves. Each of us, one at a time, walk by adjacent table, pointed to a dish on someone's table and pointed to our table. We even ate from the Dim Sum cart. We ate, and since they didn't give us a bill, we paid what we thought it was worth and added 50%. That was the only "race" issue that I recalled, but that "Chinese Only" sign in the window short circuited my brain. Good experience though. I would DEFINETELY consider relocating to the Philippines though. Beautiful and warm people.

When it comes to playing overseas, you are a gun for hire. If you play well, you get paid, if not, you are out. If you are unknown in China, you will see the full racist side of the country. Yet someone like Dwight Howard will see far less of that if any. Starbury was one of the first guys with name recognition and still had gas left in the tank. So he got treated exceptionally well. China gave Starbury permanent residency which is extremely rare.

@@ChopFromDaBlock i really like the big 3 too. And i do believe they have big potential. Now the problem is his scheduling. The NBA feels he will totally kill the WNBA, which the NBA has big investments in. He knows that and kept pushing to the point of near blackball. He never once tried to compete vs the NBA and thier timing and scheduling....but you are right. Ppl loved to watched. Kinda left the hapless WNBA without much food left on the table to reach for. The reason i laughed was because even ice cube did not try to compete with the NBA....which seems to have blind followers at this point. So i actually agree with you on a couple points. But the true problem is the big 3 kills the NBA's investment. Waaaay better option to watch.

Never learn their culture, embarrass their fans, just take the money, fuck their women, leave them fatherless, and go back to the states with their money first chance they get. I'm Chinese and I live in Shanghai. When Lanny came to Shanghai, he was really good at scoring. But never pass the ball. Showing up late for practice arguing with the coach and hitting him. In the end, because he was fighting with his wife for custody of the children without communicating with the team, he went back to the United States by himself and took all the Adidas sponsored sneakers and took the whole team. I was about 12 and it was all over the news. I remember him kissing the tattoo on his right arm every time he shot a free throw like it had an image of his kid on it. But to say that all Chinese coaches are racist is ridiculous to me. The coach was born in the 1950s at a time when few Chinese could speak English. Even less likely to know some racist words. When Rush Hour was released in China, Jackie Chan used racist language in the movie that no one in China understood. I thought that Laney was just an American player who wanted to get back to the nba by scoring more points in China. Maybe he played basketball in a selfish way. But he was such a hypocritical person. People who are not professional and blame the team for racism 20 years ago no one in the Chinese team could speak English. I'm not saying there is no racism in China but I don't believe what he says.

Many black people went to China with good vibes, Marbury played there for years. Maybe it’s this guy with his mannerisms they didn’t like. Like most black people are getting tired of these guys too.maybe they sick or the thug hip hop culture.

If LeBron went Overseas and Dominated over there too like in The NBA..Would be crazy tho..That would be a Dope Career run..And have his Son Dominate The NBA..And think too..If LeBron was to play Overseas, that could be another way for The NBA to Merge there Business over there too and Create Oversea NBA Teams…

you are all just talking **** there are a handful of very dark skinned African KZfaqrs in China that get showed mad love. The Chinese show more hospitality to blacks more than what they get where they come from. I'm taking about getting stuff for free and being treated like a celebrity.
