He literally said he had people in his life who were advising against what he was doing. Did you not listen past the first 5 minutes? But you can’t change someone, they ultimately need to make those decision out of their own will power.

Lenny Cooke was not blackballed. Lenny, not making it, was all his own. He just told everyone he was partying every night, not listening to the few people who were trying to lead him on the right path. He had all the skills to make it. He just wasn't disciplined in the head. Making it to the NBA is not all about playing. Its also about the other stuff you do and how you carry yourself.

Exactly, it's revisionist history. Lenny did it to himself. Plus he was 19-20 his senior year of highschool.

Lenny Cooke being ranked higher than LeBron is misleading. Lenny was 2 and a half years older than LeBron. At one camp LeBron was 16 and going against a 18.5 a Lenny. And LeBron still outplayed everyone. Over 20 years later and Lenny is still trying to make himself relevant over a false narrative that he was ranked higher than LeBron is pathetic.

People forget that Lenny was THAT GUY. He was the class after Sebastian Telfair…then LB and Melos class was after that. LB wasn’t known on the national level til that ABCD camp…that’s literally the beginning of his legend on the national scene. He was known as a 2sport star in Ohio and big time football prospect…just as much as basketball. That game against Lenny changed who THAT GUY was…Bron took that spot and never looked back….and became one of the greatest ever. Legendary

Was he really that guy or that guy that was older than everybody. He was simply older and lacked a skill set. This is why he didn’t make the league. If we’ll known crackheads like Richard Dumas (Phoenix) and Lloyd Daniels (Spurs) can get the opportunity so could have Lenny. He wasn’t good enough.

You saw melo on the documentary with lenny saying how much he was avg and how much he wanted to be as good or better than lenny. Lenny just hung around the wrong crowd. And to people defending ja,this is exactly why he shouldnt be doing what he is doing. The nba/nfl and all conglomerates or big mega corporations have divisions/jobs that are strictly to follow or watch over what youre doing at all times. Think johnny manziel. Dude partied too much and still got a chance but they let him go in harshest way because he not only partied too much but he was supposed to be the first mahomes after the kapernick success of the rpo style offense while johnny wouldve thrown like mahomes in a sense, and run like kap. Then look forward and see mahomes, hurts, lamar, murray, and etc are all where nfl want the game to be. Its more than ranking and highlights in these procedures

His energy is totally different than his last interview. He was trying to act extremely cocky talking to Mase and Camron. At the end of the day, all of them had those opportunities and they all did some things. He just wasn’t mentally prepared to be at the next level (college and NBA).

low key said he scored 11 to mase & cam, this interview had to bump it up to 13 and said "he ran out of gas" lol

@@joeworldstar In reality it was 9 points the whole game. Also he said Kobe spoke to him personally, but in the other interview he said Kobe spoke to him indirectly.

Dude should’ve taken school seriously academically so he could’ve been able to get scouted to a D1 college play for one year then go for a NBA draft. But he chose to hang out with hooligans that didn’t know any better certainly high school dropouts that didn’t have his best interest.
