Not trying to put my legal affairs out there but many years ago I did try to get money from Lenny. Played this LP as a college student in the late 70’s. It was 2 in the morning. I ain’t drawing no picture-LOL. But 9 months later… I blames Lenny, smile. A simp is a man who's expressing their love for a woman, but it's not being reciprocated, amongst other things... The character in this song isn't necessarily a simp. It all depends on how the woman responds to his overtures, and if she's appreciative after they reconcile.
