so the unit you are reviewing with 64gb emmc storage can be upgraded with an nvme m.2 pci express 3.0 drive ?

Yes !! I have one myself I got in the back to school sale in August $155 after tax. I'm on slickdeals is there's a nice thread on this PC and all upgrades. The Samsung SSD 256GB PM991 is the one you want !!

Nice tutorial! How to know what type of storage uses this laptop? The 8GB version comes with SS2 M2 and the 4GB one with eMMc? Or it is just random?

i there, i own one of these windows laptops and they only come with 4 gbytes of ram, i really dont think theres a 8 gbyte model, also all come with emmc

@@jackequallife hey there is indeed a 8gb version of it (saw it live). Only the Chromebook version has a single version with 4gb of ram (Chrome OS doesn't need more RAM to run smooth though).

@@alikiani6787these kind of laptops use to have soldered most parts but not sure. I own both the Windows and ChromeOS versions and the one I use is the ChromeOS one since battery life is amazing and everything works just fine. Still use Windows on my desktop PC though.

No, memory is NOT upgradable its imbedded into motherboard !! BUT!!! You can add a M.2 SSD HD up to 256GB max that's what I plan on doing for mine !! I only use it as a work PC

no, its practically a sd card soldered to the mother board
