Thank you! Just got one you showed on Amazon for $589 with the 16gig memory and 256ssd , AMD 5, I can’t even believe 16gig memory at that price point with a screen that looks like that. Unbelievable. Definitely beats the Acer swift 3 that I was looking at with 8gig memory and worse screen in general and color accuracy. And touch screen with a pen! I can’t wait to play with it !

@@numan3815 I love it actually. It’s a 2021 Lenovo ideapad flex 5 14”. The older models have a little dimmer screen with worse color accuracy so I went with the 2021, and it looks beautiful. It’s on amazon right now for $630, I luckily had a deal on Amazon when I bought it at $589 Unbelievably fast with 16g memory, great looking screen, the IPS looks amazing. Also I can play most games (that aren’t very heavy duty) with 60-100 frames it’s incredible. But large triple A games don’t run that well understandably (unless you tune it down to 720p to increase frame rate). The integrated Radeon graphics it comes with look amazing. And the touch screen functions are very high quality, it’s nice to use it just touching the screen without the touchpad, extremely smooth and easy, top tier iPad quality.

Note: Not all AMD versions of this laptop have the same configuration you describe here. I'm looking at another vendor (MicroCenter) that carries a version of the AMD machine that has 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD.

Hi I'm wondering if it's a good deal to purchase the Ryzen 5 4500 with 8 G or Ryzen 7 4700 with 16 G for a difference of about $40 on a HP Envy? I saw your review on Ryzen 5. Good job! And your review of the HP Envy but with Labor day sales there's additional choices for me. Since you can't expand thec RAM it's probably better to get the 16 G RAM for the dollar difference. You got the thermals wrong. According to derb8uer, It is actually an advantage if the chip can run hotter because it allows it to maintain higher clock speed over time and/or lower fan noise.

Hey, found your videos really helpful. However, I'm in a dilemma and hopefully you can help me with it. I'm confused between choosing one of these 2 laptops... HP pavilion x360 14-dh1180TU (i7 10th gen) and Lenovo Flex 5 (AMD Ryzen 5 4500 U). The former is for 75k and the latter is available for 57k.

I think 1035 G1 is more comparable to Ryzen 5 3500U, at least in terms of price? I know you're comparing the model and that's completely legitimate but are both models of Lenovo the same price? Based on price comparison (currently in my region) the Intel has a better position. Good vid, thanks!

In 2020 ram must be at least 8gb I would say...4gb is less now...and storage 128gb is very less!For exemple you download Pes2020 and with Windows it takes 70gb...You will have to delete games or another components after some months,because 128gb for notebook is like 32gb for smartphone.In 2020 take smartphone with 64gb too!

The amd version wasn’t available for me but the Intel i5 version was available and $100 cheaper. Both had 512gb ssd but the amd had 16gb ram while the Intel had 8gb ram. Hopefully made the right decision.. all in all this laptop is very nice.

Its not very accurate. For professional color grading, you should look for a more color accurate laptops or use an external monitor (thats what I do)

I will recommend Ryzen 5 4500 with 16 GB RAM. Ryzen 5 4500 has 6-cores which are plenty and 16GB RAM will make a huge performance difference

Great video, I have a pref for AMD. Except, right now, the AMD is priced $120 more than the Intel. $732 vs $609. Wish I was in the market when they were $599! I was trying to stay under $500 but couldn't bring myself to buy the garbage you get for that much $. The Intel came out to $757 with Tax and 2yr warranty (for a 16yo). Would have been almost $900 for AMD version and then it'd be worth the 4yr warranty so another $75.

What country are in you? Wow I got the one he showed for $589 on Amazon last week, I am in the US tho, 14” AMD 5, 16gig memory, 256ssd. Unbelievable for that price best laptop under I’ve ever seen under $600 no doubt

i really would loved to buy the amd one but ive waited more than a month for it to become in stock again but i really need one for university so i bought the intel one... i think both will work great i wont game on it so it will be not noticable :D ( Ich have AMD in all the other systems of mine )

4GB will be too tight. To get a good snappy performance you will need at least 8GB

lenovo ideapad flex 5, because as a medical student you will be take notes and making sketches and diagrams. The other 2 laptops dont support active pen

i am facing problem of fast battery drainage.... i charge it to full i use wifi for youtube classes and some light apps and within 1.5 hrs it comes down from 97%to 60% ...it is normal or is there any issue with the battery? although i have switched on battery saver..help me out!

It may be some rouge app. You could factory reset the laptop but please make sure to create a windows restore snapshot first. If the battery life improves, then the culprit is some app that you installed. BTW is the brightness set to 100%, because that will drain the battery fast

Sorry but I had the wrong Intel Core for the Dell computer. It should read as follows: Costco has the Lenovo Flex 5 14" with Intel Core i5-1035 with 16Gb Ram and 512Gb SSD for $599 or the Dell Inspiron 15.6" Intel Core i5-1035 3000 (5501) with 12Gb Ram and 256 Gb SSD also for $599. Both were Black Friday prices. Which has the better screen colors and computer performance? I'm not that concerned about hard drive capacity. Which would you choose based on Screen and Computer Performance? I will do some occasional Lightroom/Photoshop.

I have the ryzen 5 version of this laptop!! Overall its good but i often hear a light buzz/static noises in the audio part of the laptop. Not sure if its a realtek driver issue or a hardware one but sadly im just gonna have to deal with it bc i cant return it anymore... anyone have any solution for this?
