I own this laptop but I noticed a single issue with the design. The area where the bottom of the laptop meets the top between the two screws on both the left and right side seem to have a small gap between the two layers. When you slide your finger from top to bottom you can feel the edge of the bottom half slightly coming forward and not seamlessly fuse with the top. I've contacted Lenovo support about this issue and they said it wasn't harmful and if I found it too annoying I could get it fixed for free. Although, I was wondering if I could fix it myself by maybe unscrewing the bottom half and putting it back on again. Or, maybe only tightening the screws would do the trick. If anyone has some ideas please let me know as it's very annoying and I don't want to send my laptop back and wait around 1/2 weeks for it to return.

A question I have, Lenovo vantage can keep the battery at 60% even with the charger plugged in. I have been using this option because I read it is better for lithium batteries to stay between 30-60% battery rather then being 100% charged and completely discharged. So the question is, since Lenovo vantage keeps the battery at 60% even with the charger connected, should I keep it plugged it so it will run on the AC rather than the battery? Is that better for the battery life? I have noticed the laptop warms up a little bit more when I do this, but it doesn't get hot at all, not even close. Anyone who can give me some insight on this or lithium batteries will be well appreciated! :)

About Premiere Pro - I was wondering if the Intel version with Core i5 would do better in terms of graphics. I wanted to get this laptop for some light video editing, but currently the only option on the market is the Intel one. However, seeing how AMD doesn't perform that well in Adobe programs, I wondered if the Intel version would actually do better. If anyone knows, it would be much appreciated!

Great laptop except the glossy screen :( I would like to see the non-glossy touch screen of Acer Swift 5 on this notebook, then it would be my choice without thinking.

Recomend this one but with an intel 5 and a nvidia 350, it’s for 750 dlls

5GB/s USB-c is not enough for one cable dual monitor, wireless keyboard and mouse, camera, and charging. We need 20GB/s USB 3.2 Gen 2x2. or Thunderbolt 3.

One thing I don't like is the glare

Trackpad is not left of center if it's centered with the home row. Center is not the center of the laptop. Center is right below home row (the 'B' key) as you put your hands on the keyboard home row, not in the middle of the laptop. I don't understand why people get so fixated on symmetrical aesthetics. Apple fanboys probably.

So, based partially on reviews like this, I bought one. The first time I closed the lid, the computer shut off and could not be restarted. Lenovo Tech Support told me it could be months before it is repaired so I am returning it for a refund. Switching to HP. The Slim 7 is not as well made as you suggest.

I don't get why reviewers even mention low brightness/reflections in daylight. Who works on their laptop outside?
