A quick look and unboxing of the Lenovo Legion Glasses. I have been using the glasses for a couple of months, and wanted to share some thoughts, and demo what to expect when using this cool accessory.

Pretty nice video. 👍 Dumb question incoming:are those compatible with others handhelds? Or they locked them to the Legion somehow? Or maybe there are other glasses that work better with other devices. Sorry not really knowledgeable about these kind of peripherals. Thanx.

Oh yes, they can be used with any handheld or phone that supports video out over USB c.

Hi @OKestGamer, thank you for the nice video. Is there some kind of performance hit when connecting the glasses? Probably the picture is being calculated only ones and displayed onto both eyes looking exactly the same right? -> There is no 3D effect displayed, the Legion GO having to calculate two pictures right? -> Can you say something about the picture quality? How did you like it? Did you find it to be sharply and clearly displayed? Did the colors pop out good if having darker environments in the background? How is the sound quality? And can people around you still hear the sound quite clearly like with VR glasses? Do you know how much it costs roundabout currently? For me also a really important question; How are the glasses being recognized by Windows 11? Are they being recognized as a second screen? And is the handling exactly the same? 😮 What happens on the Legion Go Screen as you connect them? Which resolution does each eye get displayed in front of it? How is the felt distance to the displayed screen? I know those where many questions, sorry for that, but as a gaming nerd, tech freak and Lenovo Legion Go early adopter I'm really interested in those things, always having heard a lot about those glasses and never having had the chance to try them out myself. It was already one of the best videos I've seen around, as you tried to explain how it feels and looks like looking through them, but I'm still missing a lot of details 😉.

-3D effect: I did not experiment with any 3d effects, but i do not believe the legion glasses have that feature. -Picture Quality: I found the picture to be vibrant and bright enough. the lenses are quite dark, so i didn't have any issues seeing it. Edges and corners are a little out of focus, but most of the screen is decent. I find it best for videos or playing games. doing work involving smaller text is not great with them. -Sound: speakers are on the quieter side, they work well enough, but i suggest pairing some bluetooth headphones if in a noisy environment. -Current cost: $329 USD -Windows detection: it is seen as a second display. -First plug in: at first plug in you'll have a mirrored display of your handheld screen. you can adjust in settings to only display on screen 2 for best results. -total image output is 1080p x2 (i believe). so you'll see a 1080p image. -how big does the screen look? this is very dependent on what you see in the background. when looking at a distant wall it can appear like a 100" screen, or it can look like a 17" if looking closely at a wall or desk. very dependent.

Does it have a depth sensor and does automatically simulate a projection onto the next background or how can I imagine that it depends on the background? 😮😮😮

looks too narrow for my huge noggin does it have the option to 'fix' the 'screen' in place?

They handles can bend outward as well, but I hear you. I've got a big head as well. There is no option to fix the screen in place

Seems silly. Legion Go 144hz and Legion Glasses 60hz. I would have purchased asap if we got 144hz on the glasses.

I did find that to be the case with the glasses. I went through it briefly during the simulated test, it looks similar to what I attempted to show

So Lenovo won't sell me an equivalent of a joycon mount so that I can use the controllers that come with the device like a traditional gamepad when connected to an external display but they will sell me this...

I have tested the Nreal air gen 1 and the Viture one. I am planning to do a quick look at those as well, and possibly do a comparison of them after. I am in between the nreal air and the viture one for my preferred device. I like the comfort of the nreal, but some of the features of the viture one. still need to do a little more comparing.

Maybe add the NREAL air 2 pro and the Rokid Max if possible, but I gues its gonna be hard getting all
