I hope they put the Ethernet port on the p16 gen 2, seriously though a workstation without Ethernet is really disappointing

Not really....Everything is all wireless now. Even every office has wireless internet. Public Wifi is also wireless.

Had same issue. Endep up byuing a legion (gaming) laptop. They have discrete looks so you can nring it tomthe office.

Any updates on the first two for a release date? It was said May, then June, now radio silence, marketing at instagram for Lenovo doesn´t seem to know either. All Gaming vendors, Lenovo included have their version with a 4090 out. What´s going on here?

Have you tested the Ryzen 780M graphics with this 48 / 96 GB memory kits for Blender 3D render (HIP RT ray tracing), is it faster than CPU render? Many workloads are too huge for 8GB 4060. Is there huge render speed drop with 40Gb workload on laptop with 16Gb soldered and 48GB in expandable slot? Can 2023 Legion models use 48GB sticks?

Hi! Do you know if Lenovo has discontinued the ThinkPad T15g models? I remember those laptops were similar or related to the P15, but I haven't heard anything about the T15g models.

I haven't heard news regarding the T series yet but my guess they might have scraped it and move it to 16" let me get back to you on this one.

Is p14s much worse in build quality than t14s? If Im correct p14s has full plastic body and t14s is magnesium one. Is there a huge difference in build quality?

Published by JEDEC in June 2021, the LPDDR5X standard, a dedicated type of synchronous dynamic random-access memory (SDRAM), delivers enhancements in several areas compared to the preceding LPDDR5 standard: A speed increase from 6.4Gbps to 8.5Gbps using the same 1.1V core voltage. Better signal integrity enabled via receiver equalization and transmitter pre-emphasis. Greater reliability thanks to a new adaptive refresh management feature. Up to 20% better battery efficiency.
