Thank you , these videos are very useful. Would you happen to know if the PSU is standard ATX, and can be substituted? And also, is the motherboard standard ATX, and would fit into a standard case?

🙂 hi phil, this is a small form factor power supply so its not standard size but i do believe the plugs are all regular. Now the motherboard looks to be a regular mATX motherboard so u shud b able to transplant it easy into a generic mid tower case, double check on ebay and search for m71e motherboard pics, it also seems to have a generic 24pin plug and 4pin plug so u can use any regular power supply with it, the Lenovo i5-2400 with 8gb ram seems to be the best performing budget pc at the lowest price because if you go with even older hardware like lga775 its not that much cheaper and its a bit slower, also look at the i5-3rd gens if u like sata3 blue usb plugs 😊 Also b careful! 😒 not all Lenovo SFF motherboards are compatible, depending on the model it might have a weird I/O shield setup and graphics card slot setup all wrong and messed up, then you wont be able to transplant those into a generic case!

PhilsComputerLab yes actually I stuck this motherboard in my custom case everything seems to connect properly but the front power led connectors might require some messing around before they can function, as well as the front audio pinouts, over all it's a pretty good board

Hey Mxkdi! I successfully inserted the 7570hd lowprofile into my M71e PCI slot but when I turn on the PC the card wont work... The PC works fine without video card(integrated graphics)... My tower was the exact same as yours. Any reason why it might not work?

You can use up to 1050Ti mini and more further but 1050Ti mini is a nice spot, Low bottleneck and nice gameplay. But you will need a new Power supply of 400 Watts. and i suggest you to put more ram sticks (Total 8Gb) and then you're ready to go with 30- 60 Fps in any game with Medium to Low graphics and on 1080p.. For ex: GTA 5, Outlast 2 etc..

Yes low profile will fit, and you have to check your power supply if you have 240w i don't recommend you installed that video card because it requires atleast 300w power supply

I believe it can. Having 240 watt power supply is ok. U will have round 60w of head room. Since 750ti and the whole setup will only take round 180w

it needs 240 dipin, unfortunately, it won't. i placed a gtx 750 low powered gpu. I bought it from ebay for $35 CAD and it works great.

Which processor are you using? I too have same Lenovo Small Cabinet but have installed i5 6th gen which already has 2gb gpu pre installed in it, which helps me to play games at lowest settings easily without any graphics card. So i would suggest rather than purchasing graphics card, buy a powerful processor like i7 5or6th gen

No you can only install low profile video card on this lenovo

well I kind of installed the 730 lol and it worked for a while now its dead i guess idk :/ the fan works of the GPU

gt 730 does come with very flaky cooling fan and some time the fan fails and video overheats and stops working

Well can you tell me if my GPU is dead or smth because I installed the gt 730 and it was working in the start when i bought this pC (jan) and the GPU worked till like few weeks then it stopped working mid-way and gave black screen and later it started on black screen. I switched by VGA cable to the integrated one on mobo and it gives the display even with the 730 installed. is the GPU dead?

Yes , gtx 1050 mini video card will fit make sure to check your power supply you have to have at least 300w
