what makes peeyush different is that he mostly talks about the core aspects of a business, which makes a company profitable and creates value unlike other founders who did startup just for sake of doing it..
@notflash11

Just purchased lenskart lenses. Their quality and services are best. For the middle class, the lenses are at a high price, but looking at the quality of the product as they are made of acetate, which they claim and trends they follow in lenses and services are the premium experience. Piyush bansal is more customer centric, which gives satisfaction to customers that they are not getting cheated by lenskart.

One of the best interviews because every single word written in it's caption is discussed thoroughly and felt like MBA ki koi to boht sai class chal rhi h . Interesting part is puri conversation mei peyush ne boht kuch sikhaya but 'How to market indian customers' segment mei peyush ko bhi lga raj ne kaafi sahi points ko touch kiya , maybe I felt it but unke expressions ese kuch hi the. Anyways awesome job and hope to see many more like these

Raj, your conclusion on community brand loyalty being stronger in lower income group or TIer-B cities & down, I have a different take on. I think as you go down the income group, people cannot afford to experiment. So, they stick to tried & tested safest option available in their affordable price point. Its often a hurdle for a better problem solving brand to break in, just because a large cross section of people are "brand loyal." Piyush is on spot when he says the 'cost of risk' is not high in urban living. And thats progress I think. Taking risks, trying new things, exploring is more aspirational and human. Its not individualistic. Its the sign of life and living. You strive to deliver newer and newer offerings (products/service) to improve life. Brand loyalty and monopoly can become very thin line with community clumping. It can thwart R&D, as the company can go complacent. Informed and demanding market is always the biggest catalyst for development and lifestyle evolution. Of course, brands must live up to the quality reliability level across segments. Loyal or fluctuating. :) Rest, I just love watching your insightful videos. Many thanks for putting the kind of efforts you are infusing.
