The demons in the corner of my room at 4 am on a tuesday

Tuesday’s I sleep at my uncles who has lots of upside down crosses in his room. I think he put them the wrong way by accident to try to scare demons away but so far it hasn’t been working. I sometimes catch him looking at me with a sly grin. I’m not sure what happened to him but ever since he clawed his left eye out of his head he hasn’t been the same

There are musicians who "play" their instruments, and then there are musicians who simply "are" their instruments - that would be Leo!

It's really hard for a sax to lead a song by itself. Even among instruments known for being in ensembles, it can be hard to carry a song. He used the instrument similar to how a guitar player might, using his intonation to add thickness to the sound even without 6 strings. Other times he played it like a synth solo. I really enjoy hearing saxophone play more than just jazz, blues, and rock music.

I talked to Leo’s mom (of all people) outside an LC concert in Pitt a few weeks ago, and she said that it was hard to even make ends meet when they were a six member band touring; also about Buyo specifically, she said he is married, and touring makes having a normal life impossible. So I assume it’s a combination of that. Pretty sure he works/worked as a nurse (or something similar) so he has something to fall back on probably.

one of my absolute favorites by Leo... a goddamn showcase. keep it up, man. In an odd way, I'm reminded of Ian Anderson, and the atypical way he played the flute, it really allowed him to transcend what the instrument was expected to be and where it was used. you push boundaries (at least to me), and that's a very good thing.
