In this clip, Leon speaks about filming "Buffalo Soldiers" with Joaquin Phoenix in 2003, which led to conversation about Phoenix's role in "Joker." When asked about who he thinks played The Joker the best, Leon explained that it's hard to compare performances because the conditions are so different for all actors.
Moving along, Leon spoke about his role in 50 Cent's "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" movie. Leon explained that he was a fan of director Jim Sheridan's work, and he obliged when Sheridan asked him to be in the film. Leon then responded to Vlad asking him about his nearly 40 years of steady acting work, and he urged young actors to treat their acting work like a doctor or lawyer- always striving to improve and be better. To hear more, including his thoughts on his music career and Chaka Khan calling theater work "slave labor," hit the above clip.

@@Mir2Nastyy bro, if you’re making a good living right now and taking care of yourself and your family, please, keep doing it. Being an “Actor” is a commitment that requires the ability to accept rejection as the norm. It requires having an extremely thick skin because regardless of your “talent”, there are so many variables that are out of one’s control that it’s almost like playing the lottery. I know so many extremely talented Actors that no one will ever hear about that it ain’t even funny. But, to answer your question, to become an actor, first and foremost one must train, “Craft” is So Important. Theater is always a good place to start, TV and Film are the other areas one must master. In today’s world people strive for fame and although with the internet you might get attention, it’s a whole different ballgame once you are on a set and the director says “Action”. I’d you don’t know what you’re doing, it’s gonna show and you don’t get the chance to make excuses. The old adage, “Time is Money” is real on a TV or Movie set. If you are unprepared and don’t know or can’t remember your lines or blocking (where to stand or move) you will be replaced. There are 100’s of other “Actors” waiting in line for that role and the production will not slow down to wait for you or anyone else for that matter. I hope some of what I had say helps you. Also, there is an app called “Actors Access” it allows you to submit yourself for possible Auditions. The one thing about being an Actor is that, one never knows what someone is looking for and who knows, that might just be YOU!!! Wishing you nothing but the best. Be well.

Man all this money the lifestyle to live a good life fame but to travel the world and live nice is expensive especially if u taking care of a village of people I think most people who are famous go broke for several reasons but primarily poor mangment and not knowing the business that your end so many people allow the Manger Agent Label Middle Man Promoter Lawyer handle all there fincial affairs while making money u got 6 to 8 people on Payroll that are not ur family or friends add family friends another 12 to 50 people then u giving out money buying everyone anything they want thinking money don't run out when u work u dont work to have monet run out to pay bills u work to save for the long-term little bit little so being Poor means nothing if even the rich can be poor u can be rich or poor just taking care of your business not someone else but ur dreams and be aware all business has its sharks in the water all the the biggest Celebrity started some where but made an impact
