I didn't understand the song back then but now I do. It's about literally seeing into a person's soul and connecting with and understanding them on such a deep level that all you see Is who they really are and nothing else. You see and accept them wholly and completely.

As amazing as The Way of Water was, the music was the weakest aspect to me. Which sucks because it was my favorite part of the first one. Like it helped suck you into the world of Pandora I’m not saying it was bad, it had great moments but not having James Horner back was very noticeable….

@@Pollo.a.la.crema. Leona didnt make this song alone, but with the film's music composer James Horner (similarly to Celine Dion's 'My Heart will go on' with him). Sadly, James Horner passed away in 2015 due to airplane accident so thats probably why they cant recreate the magic anymore :(

This song seriously gives me chills. This theme was absolutely perfect for this movie! At 3:19 when she sings the same note as those horns that had just come in, that was brilliant and so powerful! It really helped put a cherry on top of the crescendo of the entire song! I must say though, as amazing as The Way of Water was, the music was the weakest aspect to me. Which sucks because it was my favorite part of the first film. It really helped to immerse you into the world of Pandora. I’m not saying that the music was bad, it had great moments but not having James Horner back was very noticeable….

***** The story, the romance, the determination ("Sometimes your whole life boils down to one insane move") the connection with nature,...and we could go on and on, are what kick-start all sorts of different emotions, because that's what a great film does. But this ain't a film it's a video of a song,... a great song, with a beautiful melodic piece of music that fit's right in with the theme of the film rounding it off nicely courtesy of the late great James Horner. BUT HERE'S THE THING....it was a stroke of genius to get Leona Lewis to sing the song because no other artist could sing it like she did. The way she builds to a crescendo with her voice, and holds power notes without losing any of the sheer beauty in her tone (where other artists would start to sound pitchy) IS what sends shivers down your spine, because it's a talent you rarely get to hear and appreciate.

Alot of people rave about Avatar's visuals, but I was blown away by some of the themes of the movie. The soundtracks composed by James Horner were outstanding, and this music here as well is beautiful

Yes, it's like she just disappeared! Some people referred to her as the poor man's Mariah (which I think was very mean). I think it'd be nice if she made a comeback!

There is something majestic, otherworldly, almost ethereal, about this song. It captures what the world of Pandora is, and makes you long to see this world yourself. This is such a gorgeous song, and all of this is what the Weekend's song is missing in Avatar 2.

I watched this movie in the cinema when I was 10. Now I’m 20. I’m crying now, because it was so much memories, and one of my favorite movies of all time. I am a huge Marvel fan too, so I feel weird and sad watching the two franchises’ fans fight. I watched the Endgame 6 times so far, so I’m so ready to hit the cinemas as many times as I can next year for Avatar 2 (and 3 the year after) too. Avatar gives me that nostalgic feeling, which isn’t something that I get from the MCU as I wasn’t a huge fan until the Avengers & GOTG, and because MCU movies come out constantly. And this song, is so good and makes me cry over Avatar because I’m dying to watch it. I recently rewatched the first movie, and this song gives me the chill at the ending credit roll.
