Leonard Chan is a writer and comedian from Toronto, Canada.
As a comedian, he’s been seen on stage and television at Just For Laughs in Montreal, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Halifax Comedy Festival, StandUp NBC in New York, and as an on-air correspondent for This Hour Has 22 Minutes. He's been heard on CBC’s The Debaters, Laugh Out Loud, and Sirius/XM radio. He's also opened for Ronny Chieng, Joel Kim Booster, River Butcher, and K. Trevor Wilson.
As a writer, he’s spent time in the writers room for international hit Kim’s Convenience, Strays, Hello (Again), and 16 Hudson. He wrote for and co-produced Streams Flow From a River which was an official selection for the 2023 Cannes International Series Festival. He was nominated for a Canadian Screen Award for his work writing on This Hour Has 22 Minutes and won a Canadian Screen Award for his work as a producer and writer on the 2022 Juno Awards hosted by Simu Liu.
