Leonard always sends me to my knees. Don’t know why I write this. I guess humans always have a need to connect with others to share their mortality. 4 days ago I held my fathers hand as he died. I said let go now. You are gonna live inside me now. I have you. Don’t be afraid. I love you. You are in safe hands. Then he disappeared.

My kids were 10 and 11 when i discovery Leonard Cohen . And I put his music in my car everytime .. They complain everytime and I told them when you have your car you can put any music you must like . For now this is my car and I am listening to Leonard Cohen ! The kids grew up only to one day tell me mom I love the music of mister Cohen .

I bought this cd a number of years ago. My youngest had just started college. He came by one evening to visit (and clear out my refrigerator) and listened to the album with me.
