Jeffrey Gillespie: I couldn't agree with you more! Such an enjoyable interview with this amazing actor and intelligent human being. A stark contrast with an Australian interview during which a few 'air head' questions were asked such as, "When are you going to settle down?" Leonardo simply said he didn't really answer those types of questions. But that went right over the interviewer's head who went to comment: "You're not getting any younger.. You're 38!..." It was embarrassing to watch such a tacky, unprofessional interview. It's not honoring to this actor's huge talent and depth of character. This one is so much better!

Doesn't he have his own island somewhere like Bali or somewhere like that ? Or maybe he's just making sure it's a healthy place to be . Seems like I seen or read that somewhere . It's good to see an actor that isn't strung out on during and he is taking his career very seriously . You don't see that much with young actors these days . Especially if they start out becoming an actor when their were just a child . He obviously had some great level headed parents . They must of been a great influence for him . Don't get me wrong....sometimes it's not the parents fault bc an actor is hooked on drugs or has a problem with alcohol . I'm just saying he seems to have a level head on shoulders.

My god I could listen to him talk for days. I was always a fan of Leo but after watching a bunch of interviews of him I've gained even more respect and admiration for him. He has been working on environmental causes for a long time, too. Truly one of the most gifted film actors of our time. Remarkably few film "duds," which many of his contemporaries and even those older than him have on their resume. DeNiro and Streep are in that category--they do projects which are not equal to their talent. Day-Lewis is truly at the top of film performance. I sure hope he finds a decent film project to work on in the future.

Anyone noticed that he ALWAYS wears a suit to interviews? He seems business like about his career; suits; measured answers, respectful and he specifically chooses the best directors to work with. People bash him for his personal life, but at this level he can do what he wants. It doesn't seem to interfere with his work which means (again) its all business.

A rare opportunity to see what Leo is like. He was lovable, spontaneous and charming in his youth, and then he got so private and all we saw of him was during promotions for movies and that can be quite rehearsed and repetitious. Now we know he is still that charming, lovable person we fell in love with, but has grown and added new dimensions to his persona. A great actor, well respected, intelligent, committed and conducts himself so well. Jenelle is also a very good interviewer.

He's very well spoken. I can remember thinking way back, when he went from tv juvenile series to an actual movie screen role, thinking, 'oh, he's just a pretty bhoy'. Oh, how wrong I was! I have grown to appreciate the way he protects his private life and that he is never (hardly ever, anyway) a subject of gossip in the tabloids. Everything he has done has been of very high quality. And it's that decision to make quality not quantity movies that has garnered my respect. I am acutely aware of how much he has invested of his personal life and finances to the care and protection of caring for the Earth and environmental and moral issues. I have mad respect for this human being. He cares, and that is refreshing coming from LA (Hollywood). Thank you, #leonardodicaprio

I was never always a Leo fan but I've come to love his movies and his respect for the art and making good movies. It all seems well planned and sculptured, from the way he dresses, speaks (his oscar speech is one of the best) and he allies himself with the best directors. No mindless sequels, no comic book adaptations with bad directors and no comedies just because he thinks he's funny. A well sculpted career.

Leo is my favourite actor ever. I've followed him since I was a child and I've always been so damn fascinated by his performances. I've always considered him like one of the finest actors of cinematic history, and recently I've became more and more near to him because I tried to understand and know him more as a person, and I found out he's a great, loving, very serious-yet-funny guy. So humble, down to earth, amazingly caring and committed to his projects. Leo is really a fine human being, and i loved watching this interview. The interviewer is also absolutely great. She asks really interesting questions, and she actually listens to the answers (and that's rare). She is very focused on what she's doing and she's not putting any pressure on Leo when he's talking. Amazing. She clearly loves what she does.

So this is how Leonardo DiCaprio talks in reality lol ... (cuz oftentimes we could only see him in a film) Really love the way he talks and how he describes a past thing by reconstructing it, which is so funny lol ❤ ... He's such a smart and decent person. Great interview. Love it! ❤ Thank you Jenelle Riley :)

I recently came face-to-face with ryan gosling who was shooting a film in my building a few days ago and I was way more starstruck than I thought I would be lol (even though I'm completely against the weird idolization of celebrities) so kudos to the interviewer for being able to conduct a discussion with a mega-star like leo. it was wild seeing someone who I've watched on tv for years; you freeze and it's a really strange feeling all around. very cool to see them shooting a production though; really revived my interest in film-making as an art.

Leonardo Dicaprio is my favourite actor. Here’s why. He’s very mature, and a,ways has been. Not to a point where he’s not funny and entertaining, but he’s respectful, and shows it in all his interviews. Aside from his incredible looks, his acting skills are amazing. He really gets into every role he plays and even if the movie isn’t good (which it always is), his acting is truly amazing. He’s living his life to the fullest, doing what makes him happy, and I respect that. Thanks for reading lmao
