I am not sure if I was just super aggro in terms of hitting Targets in my area, but I was actually able to buy or see (for the ones I didn't buy) everything Haulathon in multiple Targets weeks before the start of Haulathon. Not sure if they had more stock available or if demand was lower or I just hit the stores harder this time

Excellent review as always. Keep them coming. I will get all 4 since I missed out on the line until now. One of your subs pointed to AE as an alternative to buy. So far they look to be $55 per figure with $40 shipping internationally. I think in store you paid $36?

Thanks for showing that the bandana can be removed. I have an off centered pupil on my TiD "mattefied" Raph and was wondering if the eye needed to be repositioned. From the looks of it unlikely?

Raphael technically only comes with one Raphael head, the pizza dough head is actually from the end of an episode around season 5/6 where Raphael is making pizza dough, spins it and loses it onto Mikey’s head. I think it’s the Leonardo UFO episode. It seems the items and special nod stuff is mixed up in these sets.

Even though I got the TiD pack a few weeks back, I am getting all of these. I am just missing Michelangelo now. They feel better in hand than the TID turtles. These don’t feel fragile to me when I am posing them. My TiD set can stay in their pants and coats. These will be my set to mess around with on the shelf.

I have to get them all, simply because I missed out on every other release. Glad these are out and seemingly easier to find. I've seen a couple restocks in my area, so hopefully these will be on pegs for a while. Had to start with Leo, because he's the best Turtle, figure I'll just go in song order for the rest. Hopefully I can find a secondary market head for Raphael.

Update: I did the trick you mentioned with the bandanna removal and I swapped the robot bandanna with the normal one and he looks incredible. Since I’m never gonna use the evil head, I’m happy to have swap the two bandannas. It was a little tricky but it didn’t damage the figures.

"Had" to get all 4... i missed the previous animated releases because i wasnt sure i wanted to go that far. I had the movie and comic versions and just felt there was a gap in my collection, and these filled that gap. Then i had to get a "turtles in time" Mikey off of ebay for cheap, just for the spinning nunchuck effect. Its an addiction.

I’m still leaning more toward the disguise set. I like the glossy look and darker colored shell, but I just managed to order the punk turtles from haul a thon and it suddenly dawned on me that those are most likely the same matte finish as these guys, so swapping parts with the disguise set won’t look right.

As much as I like these figures I feel that each one didn't need those random accessories (although I see the appeal for them). I would rather have more hands, a happy and angry eye expression to choose from was well as a few mouth pieces to swap. Weapon effects too. Kinda like what Mezco does but at the NECA price point. If the green color perfectly matched the last couple of releases perfectly then this set could have stayed how it was made since the body doesn't have the two-tone color and brighter shell.

Regarding i already have the TID, the accessories will determine for me wich turtle has best value. I would say either Donatello or Leonardo, but i have to pick, so go for Leo. They both have a sidekick, wich is cool, and the mystery puppet of Mickey is not attractive to me. Leo wins because he has an alternate heads (even if like you i don't remember in wich episode it appears). BTW: It was risky to put the bandana off, NECA has fragile stuff. Good for you nothing bad happened. And i didn't know we could easily do that with the TID.

I meant to ask while watching - so, the eyes UNDER the bandanas are all the same? It's only the bandanas themselves that are angry or happy?

@@tenimeartstudios it seems like that might not be true. The old Leo eyes are shaped differently but it made no difference due to the bandana shape. The angry set had slight angles like an angry expression, but we can see it doesn’t matter when looking at the new Evil head

I know it’s off topic.. but I, from the bottom of the Marianna trench, hate target. That’s all(: got my preorder for my punk 4pk cancelled today. And it’s COMPLETELY sold out now online. Drove to my local target, they don’t participate in haulathon/well both people I asked never have heard of it… so I drove to both in Fairfield, same, then all the way to both in Napa. SAME. I really don’t know if it’s NECA or them to blame…. I feel target cause well, they’re garbage all around, but kinda NECA at this point for continuing to do this to the turtle community. Have a good day, and if in the same boat, know that nope, you’re not alone fellow passionate collector, you’re not alone.

You really can't say stuff like this and believe it. I am not a scalper and I bought these. You are not a scalper and would buy these if you saw them. Not imagine thousands and thousands of people just like you and me.... These will also be showing up online on one of the Friday releases over the next month
