Absolute TOP performance by Leonora. What a top pianist...I saw her playing Chopin Ballad No.1 at open air in a natural theatre on the hills, and she grabbed a solid performance of the piece despite of the fact that a Grasshopper was bouncing on the piano and over her hands, too.😂

Best tempo for this studio, faster versions (see Argerich ‘a and Richter’s) lose clarity. She well captures the dark , gloomy and ‘tenebroso’ mood of this studio, and her impetus is so powerful! Bruce liu’s version is more fluent and smooth, perfectly controlled and technically impeccable, but at the end Armellini nails it best! Bravissima
