I have nothing but HARD FEELINGS LEFT against Wargaming if it comes to Nerfs/Buffs... German Line got BUFFED.. not even a MONTH LATER it gets nerfed.. because its too OP?! Obj 430U is still OP and those A*sho**s do not care... but its importent to NERF the Progetto-Line and Leopard-Line... so that their beloved Russian Mediums get stronger and stronger.... They are clearly ANTI German, ANTI anything else but Russian... If a german Developer would do this that regulary People would call them Nazis... Also keep in mind how QUICK THEY REACTED! But for the E100 Buff (Promised YEARS AGO!) they claimed "we need to collect more Data".... but a NERF? No Issue.. we can do this quick... DezGamez also made a Video where he pointed out, that this Tank has a WInrate of about 48%! 48% WInrate Serverwide... Ofcourse we need to NERF SUCH A STRONG TANK...

I really enjoy playing the pta. I can't believe that they've decided to nerf it. I think that the pta is actually well balanced. So, instead of nerfing the 279e, chieftain and ebr they choose mess with the pta. Who ever is making these decisions needs to be nerfed as well.

They probably nerf the PTA to make the Leopard 1 "better". It is in a pickle now that PTA is basically identical but 1 tier lower.

A well balanced tanks would not dominate the highest damage games played list:) The only balancing factor here is, that it is not new player friendly tank as are not all paper tanks. New players need armor.

You have to be a skilled player to get the most out of the PTA, it's not like the standard b which had a far lower skill celling. The 279e and chieftain are completely overpowering I saw a player with the chieftain who had a 63% wins in it but only 47% over all. Don't talk to me about balance with those French dune buggies.... 😁

I love my PTA over the Leopard 1 because it has a better camo rating. I can play it like a scout, a TD, or even a flanking medium, all in one. Its great.

I don't see the point of nerf. IMO this tank is perfectly balanced. The weak armor compensates for the god tier gun, speed and camo. This became one of my favourite medium tanks in the game very quickly . E 50 deserves the buff.

Leo is nice to play, but there are other tanks that are overall similar strong like AMX 30, Skoda T50, T54 each in its own way.

Leo PTA and Standard B, my 2 favorite tanks in the game. WG nerfs both, doesn't touch the 279e, the 430u, or the ebr. I know the ebr, and 430u were technically touched, but come on, those weren't nerfs.

What ?? They will nerf the PT A ??? Pfff, Wargaming, Wargaming, Wargaming... Is the PT A broken ? Does it break the game ? No. You have fun when you play it, and ennemies can easily counter you. How ? You have no camo and no armor. This is balanced ! When I see how they """""""""nerfed"""""""" the 430U... Wargaming definitly don't deserve my money.

@@neeeeeck9005 What? That's literally the speciality of this tank, it should has a good accuracy because it is a sniper schnitzel. Then, what it supposed to be? A mid range fighter? A front line warrior? Bad gun handling is so important for a tank like this, like for example the new polish medium tank CS 63, it has a really bad gun handling and pretty much no armor for tier X, so it has to be a sniper with a super speed just to relocate around the map, but since it has a bad gun handling it becomes a piece of kaku, or at least really hard to play with.

I think it will still remain good. +0,1s aim time is not that bad, and don't give a f about dispersion, you are not doing snapshots with a German tank.

@@chillinchili5683 well you don't snap shot but dispersion values were what was holding back the PT A and Leo 1 before... You're supposed to have extremely good gun handling but each time you move your gun a bit, you aim circle blooms out... It was unplayable. Now it's good ! But they will nerf that. Did anyone complain about those tanks being broken ? I don't think so, but Wargaming don't care about its community.

Personally, this is my number 1 favorite t9 tank. It is fun and very versatile, and has one of the easiest and funnest grinds to the t10.

tanks.gg/compare/leopard-pt-a?t=t-54%7Eobj-430%7Eobj-430-ii Definitely not worse, but on similar levels to T-54. A little more dispersion on the move and traversing, but a lot better aim time. And that is with a much bigger gun, 420 alpha vs. 320. Leo PT A has good gun handling.

@@EemeIi it has better gunhandlin in theory. But everybody knows these moments where your Leopard shell lands in the dirt in front of your enemie at 200 meters, while the russian tank snaps back at you at max speed... The problem is, that numbers dont mean anything if it comes down to gun-handling. The values we dont see (the sigma value i think specifically) is what REALLY decides the accuracy of a gun. And currently it feels like russian tanks most of the time are laser accurate except may 1 out of 10 shots that go anywhere. On the high accuracy tanks like the leo it feels lilke half of the shells go to the center and half of them land somewhere in its rather small aiming circle. Overall this results in having a less accurate tank even though your paper stats are different.

I call it the TD curse: if you snipe from the back and your team wins fast you do low or no damage. If your team melts fast you shoot two times and die. Because of these fast games TD are out of the meta in my opinion.

Why why why nerfing already balanced tank WarGaming ,LeoPTA depends on players strategy and map awarenes. If nerf is small May be acceptable . Do you think Bobject is balanced? it has tiny cuppolas and second lower plate which is hard to hit and it goes same speed with Grille 🤦

7:27 I think the Centurion 7/1 is pretty close to the Leo PT A: the gun is slightly worse in every way, but still very good (also has 105 mm HE pen), mobility is worse, but still not bad and in exchange it gains useful armour.

@@TheKondiko Your point being? Mine is that both allow for a very similar play style. The 7/1 can do everything the Leo can, albeit not quite as good, and in addition to that the 7/1 can use hull down positions and side scrape. And yes, the armour does make a difference: With the 7/1 I have 0.35 armour efficiency vs. 0.08 for the Leo. Also my winrate is practically identical for both.

Both the Leo PTA and Leo 1 are amazing tanks. Just be prepared to be punished for any mistake, and to get ammo racked a LOT.

I think it is worth to mention that without loader perk for safe storage your ammo rack will be damaged nearly every shot you take.

Same thing with Leo 1 as well. I rage sold that tank when, inside a game, my ammo rack got damage THREE TIMES in a row. I was running it with 2 repair kits solely for the freaking ammo rack problem. It was back then when the consumables were not having cooldowns, so you got only 1 use per game. Imagine this: *gets shot* - ammo rack - *repairs ammo rack* *gets shot* - ammo rack - *repairs ammo rack* *gets shot* - AMMO RACK. At that moment, I simply threw away my tank, waited for it to load in the garage and sold it immediately after. I don't care how good people say that tank is now. A single-shot medium tank that cannot bounce shells not even when hulldown will never be good in my book.

I like my PTA a lot, WR some 58%. But the MM gives me t10 in more than 80% of the matches. Against t10 heavies there is a strong need for gold ammo. Good balance of most parameters except the armour. Any t8 can penetrate you without gold.

I have both the PTA and the AMX 30 and I love both. The AMX is a bit more derpy but high DPM. It's a bit more like a brawler, and the PTA more a sniper. It's a pity the PTA is going to be nerfed. It is a high skill cap tank after all. They better take care of the bloody wheeled shit that is *still* ruining the game.

Tier for tier remembers me the Centurion 7/1 vs Action X, funny thing is that the 7/1 is so much easy at tier 9, since the gun mantlet bounces most of the shoots, while the AX turret is just fixed steel that is useless against gold. The other stats are similar and you still pay a tier 9 repair. What should be cut in the leopard PTA is the base pen on standard and gold, give it something like 20mm less. This happens a lot to mediums, for example a T-54 with gold is far superior to the old T-62A tier for tier.

Got this tank 7 years ago and still find it hard to figure out. Very hard to help carry any game. What works one map one time doesn't work the next time. My tried and true method is hide then hunt. Not really good if trying to mark the tank when you need to get spotting points.

Pt a is the best tank in good hands. Even funnier than playing with leo 1 because mm. Overall stats on it are a little bit better than other tank but it is balanced because many new player do constantly under 1k dmg with it before of lack of armour

The Japanese mediums were better then the later leopards, the PT A etc... Main problem seems to be the gun depression and elevation in closeup situations, works fine as a sniper if arty doesn't take most of your health in one shot.

Leo PTA is my best Tier IX med tank, in terms of damage and winrate. Skill, can you play the Polish CS-59, since you compared the Leo PTA to it two times in the video. I want to see the Polish Tier IX med tank is worth using the blueprints on.

Just have to watch Dezgamez video about it. According to the stats in the NA, EU and RU servers, Leo PTA is either middle or near bottom when it comes to WR and average damage.

Leo pta has really good gun/dpm so you can trade hitpoints for 2 shots in return so it's a great finisher since you can do 840 average damage in 7/8 seconds i got leo pta at 7.7 sec reload but nerfing it ? nah its on top of the tier IX right now but pz 50 t is better rather play standard B again than haha

Leo 1 and PT A are kind of like the chieftain in a way, strong in multiple aspects and overall an effective tank. Both tanks though only do extremely well when played by someone well versed in that tank or the game as a whole, if you misplay the Leo though you have no armour/angling or health to bail you out and your basically screwed. However the Leo is German so clearly another nerf is needed.

@@EtBr1978 Now the real pain starts my friend, till tier8 is normal. The only thing that you can do ok is against lower tier, higher tiers and even same tier will eat you all the time. BTW do not even think that rich lines will help you because the only reliable cuppola is the 2nd of tier 9. So no armor no gun no nothing. Finally the auto inclination system is very clunky and slow.....

I love this tank. It is really great but only if you use your brain to play it. On one hand it is super easy to die fast but it is way harder to play it good and be on the top of high score list. It forgive no mistakes. If WG is going to nerf it, the should consider slight decrease of alfa but if the nerf it all around .... it will be masacre like they killed E5 few years ago (btw I'm not a fan of current buff for E5 )

I play with Obj.140 as it is ToT so I train crew and it is way to harder to play than with Leo IX or X . Alfa is king in this glass cannons and obj140 just does not have a punch.

While this tank shines for good players, it punishes the majority of players. It’s got decent view range, speed and a good gun. That’s it. This tank currently sits at the bottom for WN8 in EU and second last in NA when all tier 9 mediums are ranked.

Dez just did a video showing how bad the win rate and average damage is on this tank on the RU, EU and NA servers. Only very good players excel in this tank as it's very unforgiving, due to no armor. Skill just showed this, 2 very good games when the MM smiled on him with maps and tiers, the others were a Train wreck. This tank does not need a nerf WG look at the global win % and how it compares vs other T9 tanks for avg damage per game. Across all servers the story is the same.

i really love the PTA and hate that they wanna nerf it. Its not a easy Tank to play and gets good results if u can play it so i dont think they should nerf it

Ya know, when the team sucks it can drive you nuts. I’ve come to choose to just play for my missions and screw “teams” that: don’t flank, “teammates” that abandon you when strategy is all it takes to win your side of the map, when heavies decide to camp and won’t help you. I think the only way to play with the mish-mash of players is to platoon and to do so with platoon mates that communicate and agree on assaults and strategy. Stupid crappy players can make a normally good player look just as stupid as the idiots that won’t play to win.

PTA, is Op . But the wheelers are still to influential by comparison. An average player still gets top exp in an Ebr, for driving only . No thinking , no map awareness , just “ W “ !

If I was WG and I wanted to rebalance this tank, I think I'd just drop the alpha to 360 and increase the aim time to 2.1 seconds. The only things that make this tank strong are the accuracy and the alpha IMO, since other similar tanks don't have both but they all have better armor, and therefore are more versatile. I remember when the Standard B was released and it was basically just a better Leo PTA, but now this tank is too strong? I don't know...

On this rank, stabilizer only, improved rotation just doesn't worth it, leo pta have already great rotation speeds

@@Takedown87 So you are saying V.Stab over Rotation, which I agree, but skill is using Rotation mechanism in video, unless I am mistaken.

Obj 140, Obj 430U(still good after nerfs), IS7(easy heavy to play, very good trollish armor), obj 277 for more experienced players, less armor than IS7 but better gun handeling and speed, Obj 261 arty, Obj 268 4, Obj 268....Pretty much it....Oh its only ruski tanks? What did you expect?! A non ruski tank to be good? Well....Tbh only shitbarn for funny and rare 2000dmg one shots, nothing else
