For me Leopard is the best ever. This tank has mobility, gunhandling, penetration, camo. The feeling when im playing with this tank is very good and it doesnt matter it is 5-15 or 15-5 game and how much am i doing. I loved every single moment of grinding the 3rd mark. Same goes for Leo pta, Standard B. Those tanks are my style: mobility, trustable gun.

I have the same games like you, 1 good game with 8k combined and the next 5 games i got nearly 1,5k combined.. But still, I love that tank

I just got myself a Leo 1 today, played a couple of games with it, and my first impression is that I probably will end up doing better with Leo 1 than my tier 10 Patton. Much better gun, cammo and speed. Lack of armour doesn't matter, M48 Patton doesn't have that much armour either, if you peek carefully Leo's good reverse speed will get you back in cover in time most of the time.

The first match was the prime example for one team having lots of handicapped players while the other team doesn't. It's like playing football with a team that has xy amount of quadriplegics, it's a lost cause from start.

I appriciate that you showed the ending in the last battle. I will grind towards leo pta but i'm not sure that I will perform well with it.

The equipment a tank needs changes from when it is stock and the grind is ahead, to when it is fully upgraded and the crew has skill. I think the equipment you chose in the index always reflects a fully upgraded vehicle. Some of these choices do not work, when starting from stock, or close to it. It would be nice if you explained this, to prevent spending coin on equipment that doesn't work, yet. Thanx Skill.

Personally, I don't feel like Leopard 1 needs V stabs, so I run Bvents, Brammer, and iau/improved iau. Ofc you can just use standard equipment and it still works very well

Skill I've been following you for a couple of years now, and I never cease to be surprised at how you guys play on the EU server. For example, if you make a move like this 9:36 on a tank with light armor like the Leo 1 you can consider yourself dead in no time. Speaking of MM, I've had battles where 9 players on my team did 0 damage. No kidding... 9

I have gone back and retrained many crews to have Intuition - very worthwhile!

I used to LOVE the LEO, but sadly, after using the Progretto 65, I found it much better in the current META. The Progretto is almost as fast, the gun has been amazing, and it has awesome burst damage that the LEO doesn't. The games are soooo fast now that the LEO does not have the time anymore in most games to sit back and snipe or do what it needs. Also, the Progretto bounces 3x as many shells as the LEO.

In last battle enemy grille 15 made my day while taking a lot of for the team in open field.

It's quite obvious why you're struggling with Leo 1: you try to brawl in it as if it's a russian medium (which is extremely evident in the match on Pilsen). You really did well when you played it to its strengths on Fjords far away from the battle, in cover and using its accuracy to pen distant targets. There's a reason Leo 1 has so little armor...

I brushed the Dust of my Leo 1 yesterday and oh boy, with field mods, bond vents, bond rammer and improved Bounty Aiming it has 0,22 dispersion and feels like a Laser pointer 👌 Absolutely beautiful Tank and by far one of my favoirites 😊

I really miss not having any armor on the turret and whole sniping stuff is not how I used to play back when I knew maps and all tanks, nor is now that I'm back after not playing for few years. But decent speed, good gun, viewrange and camo are definitely usable and did manage to pull few clutch games in those 30ish battles that I have with it. For a tank type I thought I'll suck so, so, so much, I do have fun and am able to dish more punishment than with m48 or even CAX. Now I just need to stop being credits-efficient and buy 2nd batch of equipment for full price instead of only having optics/rammer/vstab on everything because I only have that in Depot for the last decade. :D

Worst part about playin in this tank is if you go up front and be aggressive, tanks will often yolo you because they know your made of paper. If you try to stay back and snipe your team gets upset and berates in chat. Its a support tank but others dont like it when you play it that way, especially when they do something stupid and die 1 minute into the game , somehow its your fault not their lol

Skill, The way you have equipment variant organized on the site... I isnt quite clear. I see 4 total configs and I while I understand they are likely all decent, it isnt clear which one is combined with which other one. Also can you make an ALL IN bond/bounty guide for tanks? I have some bond and bounty stuff and I am unsure how to put em on the tanks.

Best games in a Leo 1 will come when your time is losing, and you have a chance to snipe everything to a win. But it’s rare, I’m a decent Leo1 player by no means good and very small margin for error.

The Leopard is the “heart break kid” in WoT. It’s got a gawd-like gun but paper armor and causes even the most seasoned gamer to whimper and whine playing on tough maps and against many Tier X’s.

There is one thing which pisses me off more then 1;15 simulator and that is waiting in platoon of 3 ppl for game 14 minutes (yea got kicked twice of the queue after 5min - we just wanted to see how long will this take) and then get 3min 1;15 simulator with half team dead during first 60secods... and all that with about 50k+ ppl on server and 1.2k+ ppl in queue.... And i just have to say i love this tank after the afla increase it such a beast and the 1600 m/s APCRs are just hammer vs EBRs, just love it

Grinding the VK's to get to the Leo1 has been brutal!!!! When your team falls apart like a soup sandwich, three isn't much you can do.

Have to remember one thing... this tank is a sniper and once you are spotted, you are getting ammo racked.

This video is a great example of why I don't really enjoy playing tier 10.

Skill I am a noob but it seems to me in the game at 6:00 when the flank broke you played the Leopard like it had armour and took up a position which meant for sure a brawl (or no more damage). I think you should have run back to base and either shot through bushes or gone to the other flank where there was room to hide. So I am wondering if you have a tactical habit of thought which betrayed you here? As I am a noob I understand I could be completely missing something but there's no harm in sharing the thought in case it helps you. And at 18:38 also you went alone into infested waters, it might have been better to go direct to the red line after your first shot? Don't get me wrong, I love your videos and smart thinking and patient play and I have learned a lot from watching you over the last few weeks. Edit: Oh you have just said the same thing. So do you think your habits are wrong for the Leopard? Because you never make this level of mistake on the other tanks I have seen.

I think when you want to go in front, this tank suffers. You don't get to choose what happens in this tank really, but rather respond to how the game goes.

The main problem in this tech tree line is leopard PTA. Leopard Pain in The Ass... Other problem is no Armour.

I want to love this tank i started playing better with it but there is a downside. Almost everyshot on leo is pen. When they hit you you simply bleed. If its not ammorack its fire. Yes tank has speed mobility gun but its not as accurate as it should be sometimes i feel Stb or object 140 are more precise or maybe im just not on level to play leopard 😞

i'm currently grinding to the leo 1 and am currently at the Leo PTA and its amazing but in the last fre days out of 10 shots maybe 2 are pen and rest are crits....

I think M60 is competitive to Leo in terms of gun handling, it has very good gun.

i think wargaming need to make us train crews for free when they do some magor changes like intuition i lost a lot of credits and a lot of crew xp just because of intuition
