I knew les was telling the truth because I saw the tv show he was reenacting. I’m proud that he got a standing ovation 👏 he’s been serious about that side of his career for decades.

I think the ‘wider joke’ is that it was referencing his apparent meltdown on Celebrity Big Brother. Can’t remember the details but I think he started talking to chickens.

He's a reactive comic that loves to jump and an opportunity, and to be fair he was set up twice in a row. Lee can't resist the opportunity, even if it's a weak one, his sense of humour is rooted in impulsivity which is why everyone is so sure he's undiagnosed ADHD.

@@kiradotee yes, ADHD is caused by a lack of potency in certain brain chemicals, which leads to dopamine-seeking behaviour even in people with milder symptoms. This is why standard ADHD medications are in the methamphetamine family, they're a form of milder and slower-releasing stimulant that gets people a bit high unless they have ADHD in which case it usually calms the brain instead. so people with ADHD are often the most impulsive people you'll meet short of those with mood disorders. It's one of the reasons ADHD had considerably higher addiction rates than similar executive function disorders like Autism.
