Thank you! I will be there in February and you solved me the question about the need to purchase 3 valleys forfait. As we will be skiing with children and intermediate/begginer level adults i think that Les Menuires forfait will be enough.

Thanks for watching and I am glad that you’ve found it helpful! I think you are right the sensible option is to skip within the local area… however remember you can add the extra access by the day so if there is a day you’d like to upgrade you can!

Yeah a major bonus… and actually for beginners/intermediates probably a big enough area without needing the 3 Valleys pass.

I was there in January for a week with the family. Heavy snow was forecast for Tuesday night. I was at La Masse for opening time, but delayed opening due to the amount of snow waited 40 minutes. One of the best runs of my life through that free ride area. It’s a great resort, been many times. Some of the best off piste in the whole area, if you know

I was there last March and stayed in Saint Martin Belleville. A nice little place which is also available with the Les Menuires skipas.

How did you rate Saint Martin for access to the rest of the 3 Valleys?

@@Simonjburgess Very well! It's less croudy and with 2 skilift you are in the of a mountain from which you can to Meribel or take the slope to the centre of Les Menuires. Also there you have a slope called Jerusalem which is nice and less croudy. Also you can with only the Les Menuires skipass take a slope to Val Thorens and take the flat slope back to Les Menuires.

I’m an advanced skier looking for a good budget place in europe to go end of January/feb. any recommendations? I’m not that picky outside of hood snow and affordability.

Hey, here is a few suggestions… 3 Valleys - but stay in Orelle, Brides Les Bains, or Les Menuires to save some ££ on accommodation. Grimentz/Zinal - if you have a car you can stay lower and access the resorts. Skiing incredible. You could also drive to Vercorin and St Luc which would be great. Les Diablerets - from here you can access Glacier 3000, Villars and Gryon. So lots of terrain. Glacier 3000 is a favourite. I’ve got videos on all of the above 👆

@@Simonjburgess I feel like I wouldn’t rent a car and probably look for places that are ski in and out or have shuttles. I’ll check out some of those. I I just want the best snow possible for the money.

@@taylorgang2237 fair on the car. This year I’d go high. There is nothing below 1100m where I am at the moment… glacier resorts seem a good bet

@@Simonjburgess I’m in the US and it’s an El Niño so the conditions aren’t good at all. Is it the same through europe? I was hoping it wouldn’t be impacting them the same way
