Painted Green rehearsing Gilles Chabenat's "Les poules hupées (The crested Hens)". Arrangement inspired by Solas. Eileen Bridges on the fiddle, Thomas Dohn on accordeon. Jan Fischer and Casper Schack play the guitars, Karl Fischer play the bass.

I LOVE the "errie" variation of this!. I actually use this song to practice intonation and such. It actually replaced amazing grace lol. Amazing Grace = a magic song that everyone can play from a beginner to master and you can do some cool stuff with it, but mostly it is great for intonation because you really need a slower song to hone it in. You can run it high or low and both are correct as many tenors do it in a very high pitch while the lower octaves can do it and it sounds just as good. Even if you are not "religious" I still suggest that song because it is easy and slow and really lets you zoom in pitch and intonation and mechanics. When I heard this tune the 1st time, I basically replaced amazing grace with it :)
