Description of Class; This class will take you on the journey to know how to prepare liquid soap, shower gel and solid bar soaps. It starts with the introduction of the materials and all safety precautions needed to carry out the process. The conclusion of this class gives you an insight into how to establish a soap making start up business with some marketing tips to do well as a young entrepreneur.

I definitely wanna make my own soap but I'm scared of the lye. I've been trying to find alternatives to use for soap since the regular ones have chemicals in it Although everything is a chemical Any ideas? What about body wash or dish liquid

Please, so meaning 1part of caustic soda isto 4 part of water for preparation called (lite) at a temperature and soda ash is also 1 is to part of water but no temperature So it's now becomes 1part of lite at a temperature to 2part of oil to 1 liter of soda ash am I right?

Great work but during the detailed explanation of how to prepare the Soda Ash,you were mixing things together. You gave us how to prepare Caustic soda(4.5 lits of Caustic needs 18 lits of water=1:4) but you also said in 4.5 lits of Caustic you need 1 lit of Soda Ash but you refused to give us how many lits of water needed to dilute that 1 lit of Sofa Ash. Pls kindly check and let us know the volume of water needed to dilute the 1 litter of Soda Ash. Thank you

In the process of mixing the soda ash you don't need additional water but rather the caustic water that can be used to mix the soda ash

This is because there isn't enough caustic soda to react with the oils. To avoid such a scenario, you need to have accurate measurements of Lye and Oils. When making soap, there's a small amount of oil that is left un-saponified so that the consumer doesn't get dry, irritable hands. This is called Superfat, but should not be more than 4%.

You are a good teacher and pointed out every needed information on the tutorial but I am not pleased with the colourants it messed up the product. Again the soup did not go through trace before you pour on the mould. Thanks anyway
