Hearing Jay talk about his riding story is so inspiring! Like the two of you I have non-horsey parents but my love of horses sprung from a very young age. I was four when I first sat on a horse and that sparked a lifelong interest and love of horses. You guys inspire me to keep chasing my dreams! Loved the exercise that you rode in your lesson too, I need to try that with Peps!

Nice! I come from a similar situation, my mom likes horses but never rode a bunch and was only western. I had a love for horses when I was very very young. I would beg to go to the local ranches and go and pet the horses, especially the paints. My dad didn’t care for horses and only saw them as a waste of money. I started lessons at a young age and loved it! I really liked riding the big horses, especially a chestnut paint mare named Taffy and I even named a model horse after her. Then we moved a year later and ended up getting some horses. I started lessons with a professional trainer and have been riding with that trainer for the last 6-7 years. I ride 4 days a week now and still have a crazy passion for horses, sometimes can’t focus on class. Literally today my music teacher was riding out some music symbols and I changed them into this bounce exercise on my paper 😝 I hope we both achieve our dreams some day. :)

@@harric9864 Just because the horse is expensive, doesn't mean it's any easier/makes you look good. Someone who has never sat on a horse cannot jump on that horse and jump a meter course while still looking good (let alone staying on and not crashing through every jump)

@@harric9864 not any rider can just hop on a fancy horse and look amazing and be a pro u have to have LOTS AND LOTS AND LOTS of practice and really if you think about it higher trained horses are harder than regular lesson or stable horses

I like the length of your stirrups in this video with tigger. Sometimes it seems really short when you ride joey or casp. But as long as you feel comfortable I can't say anything 💕

Jay seems really chill and knows what he’s doing. Not one of those brash riders, instead someone that cares deeply about his horses and career. Also, Tiger was such an angel! So sweet! Those exercises were really nice too, do you have any idea what the striding was? I want to set it up to try with a few horses. Such a nice video, thanks for sharing!

I really like how you like to put yourself out there and ride others horses and do other things while you bring us with you, this must have been an incredible experience for you and i bet you enjoyed it well, when your riding your so calm and collected, we all love you Esme! OMG!!! Yesterday my this Esme yearbook 2022 came and I LOVED IT!!!!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!! and, it was SIGNED! I didn't know when I ordered it it would be singed???? Anyways, it was so helpful and I enjoyed it sooooo much! And, with 100 pages, I finished it in a couple if hours 😂 Thank you soooo much Esme!!!!!!

Showjumping is probably my favourite it’s so cool!!!!!!!!!!! When people look at it,it looks so easy well for some people it looks like that but it’s actually really hard but so fun 🐴

Loved the video! Jay looks like a very lovely man! We do that excersise with the poles on a curve too, but without the jump. It's amazing to practice bending your horse. You can also make the curve a bit tighter and then choose where you go over them. Make the curve wider by going on the outside, or take them in the middle.

I fell off a 13 hand Arabian, it started galloping and bucked me off. Me and my mum tried to make a new start, we bought a 16 hand thoroughbred. He’s a gelding and he’s a dark bay colour, I’m hoping this horse really helps me and brings my confidence back.
