I havent read the book but the show is amazing. Just perfect. So simple yet so rich. Larson and Pullman did an amazing job. You wouldnt care much if you cant care for Elizabeth nor Calvin.

Yeh I wouldn't read the book, it's unfortunate cause I love the premise of the show but the book is straight up "I'm better than everyone else" rather than it being "I'm capable of anything despite my forced social position" and there's a lot of degrading of others

I just started watching the show on Apple TV. Its really good. The characters are so rich that before this YT vid I actually thought it was based on a true story. Simply amazing. Chefs kiss.

Brie truly paid her dues and deservedly succeeded. She was brilliant as Elizabeth. I haven't waited for the next week since West Wing!

Yeah, we only see the finished product and say: Wow, I'm so jealous, I wish I could be this successful. Truth is that it is very hard for almost anyone to make it in a creative industry. It's all the more impressive that "Lessons in Chemistry" became a well received TV show with Brie Larson in the end. And of course it helped having an Oscar winner (for a dramatic role) and very well known Marvel superhero actress wanting to be part in this project. It's a well made show that I was very happy to be able to watch in the last couple of weeks and I'll be sad when the final episode will air in a few days. 😢

Then you should subscribe to them. I think you could use the free period to watch the show or only subscrine for one month.

Good show but I can't bring myself to like Brie Larson after the whole "marvel thing". Also, there are subtle agendas in the show that threw me off. The show was based in the 50's and the 60's, yet "feminism" is very current. 😂

There are lines directly mocking marvel fans and their reaction to Brie, so not very subtle

Should have stayed rejected. Woke bs, strangely enough brue larson is the perfect cast for it
