After I make it about 18 inches long. Then is when I put 11/2 black on each side. I commented before but wanted to make sure you got it. 🥰🥰🥰one and a half black.

Have fun everyone! I don’t have time to join as we have a family reunion for several days. Excellent idea to do strips however you want. If I had time I would totally be in this.

Thank you for showing this technique. Its a great way to use up the scraps. I don't have a long table for a runner but could use this to make two placemats.

I love it! Have made strips but didn't know what I was going to use them in. Thinking a dark navy to coordinate with kitchen. Going to the AQS quilt show in MI today. Hurrah!!!

It’s not a book, it’s a series of patterns. There are 2 months in each pattern (6patterns total). They’re pretty old, but you may be able to find them on eBay. They’re called Barn Quilt Minis by Sherri K. Hill (I think).
