MICHAEL A. SINGER is a spiritual teacher and #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Untethered Soul, The Surrender Experiment and the recent Living Untethered: Beyond the Human Predicament. For over four decades, Michael has been passionately teaching spirituality and mindfulness.
Michael’s spiritual journey began in 1971. While working on his doctorate in economics, Michael decided to go into seclusion to focus on yoga and meditation. It was in 1975 that Michael founded the Temple of the Universe, a now long-established yoga and meditation center where people of any religion or set of beliefs can come together to experience inner peace.
Singer is also a successful entrepreneur that has made major contributions in the areas of business, education, healthcare, and environmental protection. He created a leading-edge software package that transformed the medical practice management industry, as well as the founding CEO of a billion-dollar public company whose achievements are archived in the Smithsonian Institution.
Tony and Sage Robbins are excited to share this special presentation from a 2022 private event with their Platinum Partners in Mexico. Here, Michael teaches us the importance of surrender and how to “let go'' to remove the negative blocks inside us and allow positive emotions - like joy and happiness - to flow through us with grace and ease.

No, it's the catch words of this video, but didn't it ever occur to you that this so called "wisdom"--but isn't it anything but spiritual brainwashing from the Yogic perspective, coming from an 80 year old who has no reason to accomplish anything yet in life--and this TOTAL NONSENSE of preaching NOT to have desires, which in itself is a desire??

"There's no super-glue in there, no fly paper." Why do we keep ourselves in misery? Indeed! We live such a short span of time and yet we waste so much of it away forcing things to conform to our preferences, instead of letting life be and living in a way that we're happy regardless of the conditions in our lives. Thank you so much for your life and WISDOM, Michael Singer!

He says just keep doing your best. Don’t judge. No shame no blame just growth. Meditate. The question was how to make his teachings more accessible in day to day affairs. He says to let go of blockages which are pushed down. And let go of self. I think we have a large population that lacks critical thinking skills. We have trouble getting along. We can experience peace and joy filled pain when we communicate well. It is functional to discuss clear codes of conduct, shared core values, and functional grievance procedures. Common sense is key. If there is upset, we can take turns sharing our perceptions, thoughts and feelings. We share our beliefs and wants and needs and preferences and hopes and dreams. We try to seek truth and find meaning and understanding together. We listen to each other. We apologize and forgive and kiss and make up. We take time sometimes to think about issues. Some people are manipulative, dominating, and possessive. There may be rigid unspoken rules, bias and moving the goalposts. Immaturity. Delusions. Games. Unconscious cycle of abuse. Sabotage. Territorial. Gangster games, revenge ideation, and distorting reality. You have to be savvy. A lot of this is too vague. Vague generalities. We live in families and communities with politics and psychological warfare. People in terrible pain who want help and need answers. Many people suffer from mental, physical, and spiritual disease. We have many people who rate others unmercifully and like outlaws, are very destructive toward people they see as fair game. It is very important to be realistic and aware of reality with realistic insights. Many people are being hated and bullied with covert aggression. Words for the experience can be healing. This man quotes the Bible. Yet the Bible says a lot of things that might cause you to be very suspicious of this man, who obviously does not believe in the gospel message or adhere to its teachings. The Bible provides knowledge that thoroughly covers anything in life that can cause suffering, as well as peace and joy. The people are looking at this man worshipfully. Yet he communicates very poorly. Painful memories and beliefs can be processed intellectually and understood in terms of the excellent advice offered in the Bible. When I put God first, and spend time with the word and prayer and fellowship, and singing and praising God, I am really helped. I spent a lot of time searching and listening to people who didn’t help me. There is a lot of abuse in this world and lying. You have to have common sense to protect and help children. They need clear explanations. Enlightened people speak the truth clearly with specific examples. It sounds like he’s saying that people react emotionally when they are triggered from past traumas or rigid beliefs and rules with fear and a desire to go to war or try to control things inappropriately. And may be irrational at those times. It’s good to be patient and tolerant and understanding. But sometimes you need to be aware you are dealing with enemies or destructive people or need to reprimand someone or encourage them to be more reasonable. It is important to discuss moral principles. See if you have sane and rational people with a decent moral compass. Another thing is, you can’t keep running away from abusers. It is an absolute falsehood that people create their entire reality. We live in complex systems and act and react off of each other.

I always tell myself you don't need that new Maserati or that vacation just yet. That mindset helped me make more money investing. For example last year I invested 80k in stocks (with the help of my Financial Advisor of course) and made about 246k, but guess what? I put it all back and traded with her again and now I'm rounding up close to a million.

Really? I don't get it. Lots of talking, but no nitty gritty HOW. Lots of "you gotta this and you gotta that" but no HOW without a slew of digressions to distract you from your question, "OK, BUT HOW, specifically. Blahblah blah chuckle doesn't answer that question. As Dr. Joe Dispenza might say we live in a time when it's not enough to know, it's time to know how how how. Philosophical ruminations are interesting mind play, but guarding one's every thoughts, as Singer insists, is nuts. I don't join the adoring crowd at the feet of this "master". Wish I could, but it's too silly, wishy-washy, like being in a pretend world inside a pink bubble. Ick.

@@chrissforza6405What he teachs is so simple that he doesn't need to tell you how to do it(even though he say some examples a few times). It's like stop smoking. What he wants with his talks is only convince you that your life will be way more beautiful if you don't listen to the junk of your mind. If you are trully convinced, the rest is easy to do.(To stop smoking you just need not putting cigaretes in your mouth), the work he teaches is as simple as that, but if you not convinced to change, even stop smoking becames hard. That's why he focuses only on telling us what we are missing by living a life of ungratefullness and so on so forth. When you trully understand that the way that a regular human being lives, they're throwing their lives away, then you become motivated to change and enjoy your life, then It's easy to be more grateful, and you're naturally gonna be happier, you don't need to learn these things, realizing the things I said, will make you disgusted of living complaining for example. That's what I think, he helped me a lot and keeps helping, by making these repetitive talks, that remember us to live consciously.

I was a competitive and professional figure skater, and then a coach for many years. And I always think back to skating in connection with this subject....we fell a million times a day, we know the more we fall, the faster we learn; the more we try to protect ourselves, resist falling, the more we are unwilling to just go for the jump fully and allow ourselves to splat on the ice, the slower our progress. Embracing the fall. Even after we have "achieved" a difficult jump, even after it becomes "consistent", we can and often still lose it from time to time. A difficult jump that we've been landing successfully, and we think "oh I've got it!" suddenly is "lost" or we lose the feel of it, and if we are wise... instead of getting upset and agitated, we simply continue relaxing into doing it again and again and then the feeling comes back. So when I have days where my energy is more sensitive or I think I didn't relax and release as well as I did another day, I think this is just like skating, some days the jumps were effortless, some days I skated perfect "clean" routines, and at other events, I fell, some performances were "cleaner" than others - and some days I relax and release more effortlessly than others; but you just pick yourself up and keep going. I also noticed this when I was teaching. If I was tense and uptight during a lesson because I didn't want to feel the frustration the upset at a student missing a difficult jump, if I was aware and consciously relaxed my whole body, feeling muscles release especially the abdomen, the skater oddly enough did better, than when I was tight; and even if after relaxing they had a challenging day, I was able to be more at ease.

💚❤️ Yesterday I was in a foreign country (Cyprus) on a layover from my travels abroad: (on an island) most people didn't speak English. I went to the nearest beach from the airport 🛫. To cut a long story short: I realised that I'm running late. I had a flight to catch home and there was about 90 minutes left to my flight. I waited for the bus which wasn't arriving. My mind starts wanderring/worrying. I have been following and practicing Michael Singers practices for a while now. I grabbed ahold of my and I started saying to myself: "Relax & Release. Use this opportunity to Go to God". I kept on repeating ...... After a while I couldn't stop the mantra playing in my head. I was like oh my god this starting to become OCD like. Its getting later and later. A bus arrives. The driver says no I'm not going to the airport the next bus (the same number 425 will be here in 2/3 minutes. Well he was wrong 2/3 minutes later and no bus arrives. I kept repeating R&R (Relax and Release) Go To God. Twenty minutes on and I was like I'm taking a car service. Well no car services arrived either. I kept on repeating R&R. I was about to cross the street to get to a taxi stand. Low and behold finally the bus arrived. And the bus ride was free. ❤💚

What a story had me experiencing my own urgency. Even though I knew it wasn't my journey physically I was caught up in yours. Felt my tummy tighten. R&R must become my mantra, I've become hypersensitive to that which I have no control over. Thank you for sharing, truly my moment of a blessing I needed.

Listening to Day 2 of Tony’s Summit Jan. 26, 2024 as your video is playing-as Jackie O’s father said(advice to her)Always smile, never complain…I think of never complain as you’re talking about disturbances e.g. something negative about your food service in a restaurant-let it go and don’t complain-there’s nothing positive in it. Great advice-let disturbances go!

I love everything you say; I have read your book The Untethered Soul. Your wisdom has deeply touched the very core of my being. I have only one issue: when having to deal with a malignant, dangerous, psychopathic narcissist, be it a family member, spouse, or any other relationship, I feel it is best to keep fear locked inside as a protective measure-- for survival. The inner fear that is felt when engaging with the narcissist is a reminder how dangerous a person can be to our physical being and psyche. Otherwise it will be like a lamb going to the slaughter---for real. These kinds of sick people thrive on the gentle, peaceful, forgiving and loving person.

Michael Singer is something else. I’ve come across so many teachers and their ability to package there lessons, but this is a new deeper level. The teach will appear when the student is ready. My take away; we store too much stuff in here and how much of what we want actually comes from us. I am so grateful for coming across this transformational content. Namaste 🙏🏽

Yes, I feel the same way. I've always believed life is Spiritual predestined journey: that teaches you the beauty of life whether experiences appear good, bad, blissful, painful, or indifferent. Everything he's saying I've learned to accept. This is validation that: Letting go of the indifference and embrace the spiritual essence of life's lessons... HalleluYah!!! 😇🕊🕊

Intention changes brain structure. Intend on being joyous and you will be. The minds natural habit is to be unhappy because it's all built on survival. It's unhappy so it can secure more resources so it can survive. Know this, and practice cultivating joy. A small smile is a great place to start

WOW! everything Michael said made ALL the sense of the PRIMING that Tony taught. Tony, THANK YOU (as Mother Teresa once said) is a short word, but it is the greatest. You are a role model, for all your generosity. Thank you Tony and Thank you Michael for the detail of all that I have learned from you. Today has been an up and down day for me... and I decided to take a break just because I felt that you could help me LET IT GO! I will start using this new habit from now on... and I will be more conscious with PRIMING, in EVERY single movement.

I think is not a about being happy but like Bruce Lee said: to be like water, formless shapeless, allowing everything to flow through you. I think this is what Michael A. Singer means as well: Accept, allow and let go. ❤
@AnnTsungMD
@AnnTsungMD Жыл бұрын
Absolutely! I think Bruce Lee's idea of being like water and Michael A. Singer's message of accepting, allowing, and letting go are both about being flexible and adaptable in life. Instead of clinging too tightly to one particular outcome or feeling, we can learn to flow with whatever comes our way. By doing so, we can reduce our resistance to change, reduce our stress, and find more peace in our lives. Overall, I believe that being open and receptive to what life has to offer can help us navigate its ups and downs with greater ease.
