In this enlightening talk, Michael Singer delves into the essence of spiritual growth, highlighting the importance of staying centered and avoiding reactive energies. He explores the profound impact of maintaining consciousness and inner peace in the face of life's constant fluctuations. Singer elucidates how our internal reactions often manifest in external conflicts and stresses the need for personal accountability in managing our inner turmoil. This insightful discussion is not just about finding tranquility but also about transforming our approach to life's challenges and embracing a path of serene acceptance.
Speaker: Michael A Singer
Michael A. Singer, the esteemed author of 'The Untethered Soul' and 'The Surrender Experiment', has illuminated the path of spirituality and mindfulness since his profound awakening in 1971. His doctoral studies in economics took a backseat as he embarked on an inward journey, embracing yoga and meditation. In 1975, Michael founded the Temple of the Universe, a haven for individuals seeking inner peace, regardless of their beliefs.

I really appreciate having Mickey on shorter videos! It makes it so convenient for a little vitamin M whenever you need it during the day. ❤❤❤

Beautiful. I got sober in 2015 through many of Micky’s talks including learning to sit with the energy. It was life transforming, but over the years I stop practicing this. In 2020 I began drinking again and now have started back on recovery. This message today was Divine. I had started letting my mind start rationalize my defense to other people’s judgements, especially my wife’s. Thank you so much for posting!

I listen to this on the way to work this morning. Something was disturbing me, and I wanted so badly to react and knew it was judgmental of me. I did not react, but it was disturbing me and I needed this so badly. Thank you. When the student is ready, the teacher will appear. I love your teachings.❤

I find that, if I am disturbed by someone’s behavior that is causing me emotional pain, it is good to form a reaction that is assertive rather than aggressive. Say what you want, not what you don’t want. Make it positive rather than negative. Then listen to their reaction. If it’s assertive and positive as well -that’s a good relationship, if they get angry because you spoke your mind in a non-accusatory manner, let go of them or stay because you love them and have the capacity to forgive their flaw. But stop expecting them to be “better” for you.

Thank you so mich Michael. I'm on the inner path for 25 years, since 2 years I'm struggling with symptoms and nervous system issues. Thank you for this simple but profound reminder❤

Same here ConsciousGrowing. 2 years ago my nervous systems decided to present me with issues unlike I have ever experienced before. I keep telling myself that the harder I try to resolve my health/nervous issues the worse they increase. I need to simply "allow" and "be" instead of being so reactive.

@@blakemauneyThank you for your response! I'm on this path of non doing for many years already, even teaching a method for 20 years. My life changed after two Corona infections 2 years ago. I'm still dealing with ups and downs, but after all it's an inner job, learning to understand and see the obstacles, understanding our behaviors from the past, having self compassion and patience with ourselves. I wish you the best on your path🙏
