Hello Hoppers! Although I've been to Valencia many times and published a few videos from Valencia, I had never shown you the city itself, BTW, the third largest in Spain after Madrid and Barcelona. Valencia is a captivating Mediterranean city on the eastern coast of Spain, with a rich history dating back to ancient Roman times. Its location at the mouth of the Turia River has made it an important center of commerce, culture, and trade for centuries. This video shows you many of the popular sights, but I also talk about two iconic symbols, the Fallas and Paella!
Today, Valencia is a bustling metropolis known for its stunning beaches, delicious cuisine, and impressive architecture, both old and new. The City of Arts and Sciences, the Central Market, the Valencia Cathedral, and the majestic Miguelete Tower are among the top travel sights in Valencia. Valencia is also famous for two iconic symbols - the Fallas de Valencia, a traditional celebration that takes place every year in March, and the paella, a delicious dish made with rice and other fresh ingredients. The Fallas de Valencia is a spectacular festival of lights, fireworks, and music, featuring towering sculptures that are burned in the streets to mark the beginning of spring. Paella, a dish that originated in Valencia, is a must-try for anyone visiting the city. It's one of my favorite dishes, yummmmm!
Valencia's Mediterranean climate and vibrant culture make it an ideal destination for travelers seeking a perfect blend of history, culture, and relaxation.
