don't fly Condor
@doublechindirtbag5501422 күн бұрын
The smaller, cheaper airlines do that to make more money. How alot of them get you is by telling you your bag is too large and you have to pay for it. I wear my backpack when going onto the plane and face the person checking the boarding pass/passports. I didn't have to pay extra and my backpack was big and full. We flew Ryanair in Italy and they seemed to be digging people for money.

I hated flying out of Frankfurt to the United States. What a cluster (Condor Airlines). We had to go from A gates to B gates. We got through security with no issues. We had to wait until they posted what gate we would be at because they only do it about an hour before the flight. We got to the B gates (in the basement). There was another passport/boarding pass check that no one there seemed to know was going to happen. Instead of making 2 lines like instructed, people just rushed into a big group and were trying to force their way to the people checking passports. Then we had to take shuttle busses (I think 5 in total) a long way to the aircraft. We luckily were near the front of the mass of people and with a US Passport it took about 45 seconds for the lady to check ours. Some people stood in the line for over an hour and we took off almost 2 hours late. No other airport was like that (Rome, Palermo). It's not the same flying out of the US as it is flying in Europe for sure. No communication, no organization.

Hello, You mentioned this is your hometown. I planning to visit this port in August of this year and visit Torre de Hercules. Question from the cruise terminal where and which bus would I take to go to the lighthouse? What is the name of the stop to get off? On my return back to the cruise terminal would I take the same bus? Where to catch the bus, what number of the bus and what is the name of the stop to get off at the cruise terminal? Thank you so much for this video! 😊
@MuchoHop20 күн бұрын
Glad you liked the video. You can WALK along the boardwalk to the Tower. It will take about 30 minutes one way. BY BUS: There are several buses you can take, the 6, 6A, 7, 17, 3, 5 depending on the time of day. It is best you follow the map and times shown on Google Maps. The ride will be around 20 minutes. BY TAXI: At the entrance of Maria Pita Square (Plaza de María Pita) there is a taxi stand. It is an 8 minute ride and about 9€. And the name of the cruise terminal is MUELLE DE TRASATLANTICOS (Transatlantic Port) if you need to tell the taxi or bus driver. Enjoy!!!

Hi is there any connections between trains to get heidelberg?
@MuchoHop20 күн бұрын
Yes, there are several trains that go to Heidelberg. Check on the website bahn.de or the app DB Navigator for the times. Be aware that presently they are doing CONSTRUCTION ON THE TRAIN TRACKS BETWEEN FRANKFURT AND MANNHEIM and that can affect other routes nearby like Heibelberg. All the updated information will be on the website and the APP.

@MuchoHop20 күн бұрын

I will be for 3 nights in Coruna in the end of October. Why are the streets so empty? Could you tell me how it is there in October. I will be walking before the Camino from Sarria and plsn to end the trip there.
@MuchoHopАй бұрын
Oh wow, sounds wonderful walking the Camino!! The weather in Coruña is never boring. You can have the 4 seasons in one day, haha. I always tell people to wear good shoes, just in case it rains, and layers. The streets were empty because either it was lunch time or a Sunday afternoon. I don't remember exactly. You'll see Coruña is a very lively city!!! In this video, although it was Christmas, the wine streets for tapas are like this all year round!!! The shopping areas are always full, too. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rZ94iZZnyr64g30.htmlsi=MnrCpZzccUYj6oA9 Hope this helps and Buen Camino!!

Thanks for such a detailed explanation of the transportation, but I want to ask about the car rental in Milan, Como, and Lake Garda is it cheaper than the public transportation ?
@MuchoHopАй бұрын
Glad you liked the video. Thanks. I never rented a car in Milan, but from experience car rental is always good if you are going at least 2-4 people as you can divide the costs and you are free to go where ever you want. Public transport was not expensive for one person, so you have to compare prices, time of year, and how many people are travelling. If you are several people, public transport would be expensive. Hope this helps.

How about Siam to Icon Siam? Can you please tell me how to get there. Thank you Maam.
@MuchoHopАй бұрын
Check in Google Maps. I checked for you and there are a few options, some suggesting you walk for 40 minutes. This seems like it is too much. The reason is that this was the schedule for a SATURDAY. I looked again for MONDAY, AT 11 AM, and it only takes 44 minutes from Siam Area. Walk to SIAM, take the Silom Line (Bang Wa) on platform 3, 6 stops. Get off at Saphan Taksin and walk about 4 minutes to Sathorn. Take this nonstop boat Sathorn Pier - ICONSIAM (Iconsiam Pier) for about 5 minutes and get off at ICON Siam. Then you walk about 5 minutes and you are at Icon Siam. Check for the day you want to use the transport, as weekdays they do not have the same trains as holidays or weekends. You can do this on Google Maps, pick the day and time you want to travel. I hope this helps!

Thank you for filming this video. I will fly to Bangkok from London via Austrian Airlines, with a 55-minute layover in Vienna. I saw in the last portion of your video that you had to go through passport control and security for a connecting flight? Was it because your connecting flight was at a different terminal? How about the luggage? I am unsure if connecting a flight in less than an hour is sufficient. only know that all my flights will b at Terminal 3. thx
@MuchoHop20 күн бұрын
My first entry into the Schengen Zone from outside of Schengen (Bangkok) was Vienna (Schengen) so I had to go through passport control in Vienna to take my second flight to Frankfurt (also Schengen). My luggage went straight through to my final destination Frankfurt because I flew with the same airline for both flights.

Any tips on how to get thru a big airport. Never been in an airport before. Little nervous
@MuchoHopАй бұрын
GREAT QUESTION!! For big airports, always always go with plenty of time. That is the difference between being stressed and enjoying the process. For big airports like Heathrow, Frankfurt, Madrid, Miami, etc if you don't know your way around go at least 3 hours before boarding time. If you have to check in a suitcase, add another hour. And if you want to look around duty free, have a coffee, add another hour. So that would be 5 hours before boarding time. In some of my videos you see that my flight is not on the Information Board yet, that is because I am there 3-4 hours before I board. Don't be nervous. You just have to look at the signs and if you are not sure, ask an airport employee. You won't have a problem. Remember, most people are not familiar with the airports since there are so many, and so many terminals, etc. If you want to know more about airports, check this video of Parts of an Airport kzfaq.info/get/bejne/h5hzd6eQu7CwnIE.htmlsi=YO03oNa7qSRewrbh Hope this helps!!

At some point in my childhood, I discovered that I could directly control the muscle that pops/un-pops my ears. It’s been a life saver when flying. I may just be unusual, but I guess it’s also similar to the fact that some people can wiggle their ears back and forth, which I can also do.
@MuchoHopАй бұрын
Yeah, I know what you mean, I can do it too. I usually don't have problems with the pressure in my ears but some people do. So, all these tricks are good to know. Thanks for commenting and watching my videos!!

I couldn’t get it, If I have the 3days ticket and I want to use the tram, how can I validate that ticket? Is there a device inside the tram? Also when I want to exit the tram, do I need to scan my ticket again?
@MuchoHop2 ай бұрын
When you have a 3-day ticket you just validate it once, on your first ride, and then it is good for all the rides in the three days (72 hours). I validated my ticket on the app ATM. That was very easy. On the tram you do not have to validate to get out. On the metro they say to keep the ticket until you get out, but I didn’t have to scan anything. I just walked straight out. You saw I tried different things. With the new version of the app it will be easier to manage everything.
