The hand wash only can be put in a washer on delicate cycle on cold or warm water, after cycle is finished lay flat to dry.

I’m not afraid of the hand wash. I am a little careful what I use it for though. Shawls- that don’t get washed a lot. I’ve also done a knitted christening gown. I’m planning a wedding shawl in lace weight and have a bucket list goal of doing a wedding gown. Don’t know who for but would love to do one.

Some are different prices. And all different color needles. I used to favor Boye but found these. Also on clearance last week at Hobby Lobby I found some yarn l had never used before but fell in love with for $1.24-regular $4.99. Yarn Bee-Soft Stitch. Glides over the needle. Amazon and a few other places have a small portable hand crank washing machine for 69.99 I use it instead of hand washing only holds 5lbs but you put very little soap of your choice add temp of water you want and crank away at your pace I love it don’t like cranking but it gets the job done there are some electric ones out there too but I haven’t tried them yet ❤
