So here we are....
The finale of St Henry's Church. We finish off the interior by furnishing Henry Henford's tomb, Father Matthew's office and the Sunday school! We also delve into the history of the church and meet the founder Henry Henford himself! Have a lush weekend, see you all next week!

Just a suggestion for sleeping you could put sleeping bags in the storeroom with the idea that they would stack the table and chairs in the community room to sleep in as it’s lovely and warm and they would have access to the kitchen to make a cup of tea or get a glass of water. This is actually quite a realistic use of the space. I love this build it’s lovely the right proportions too❤

If the desks don't work, you could just put a big table in there with chairs all around and art/office supplies in the middle. Also - a rug in the area with the toybox would be nice, so kiddos can play on the floor.

I was laughing thinking about how if you were a kid in the Sunday school, and had to use the bathroom, you'd have to walk alone down the hall right past Henry's tomb room. 😄 I love the effort you put into the history!!

Stunning build, Aden, and as always your closing video/history is Academy Award material!!! I will add that my Sunday School experience was more everyone sitting around a table (no desks) for lessons/discussions and seasonal crafts, plus gathering/sitting on the floor to sing along to guitar or piano

First of all, this build is stunning and feels like such a warm & friendly place in the community! I would attend church here for sure; maybe even volunteer in the Sunday school! ❤ Secondly, the amount of detail you put into the video tour is amazing!!! The story line, the extra builds, the characters… wow just blown away! And, lastly, I almost forgot about the overall murder mystery with this world! The last bit with the scary figure lurking in the shadows… omg I want more!!! I want to know how this all plays out! Well done, Aden! You are brilliant & I truly enjoy your art! ❤️

Absolutely loving this Henford mystery! Also, this is the most realistic church I've ever seen anyone make in the sims. It actually feels like a space for a community, and not just a pretty wedding decoration. Well done!

If you want to, maybe you can use the tool mod to place tombstones all around the area (that way the unusable house things can be sheds). I've seen some make elaborate things by copying until you have a circle and making massive things, you don't need to do that of course but could maybe make a pretty good graveyard..! And only Special People™are allowed in the inner graveyard..! Only if you want to of course.

I got up this morning in such a bad mood because everyone (no, EVERYONE) I know are off from work and I had to get up at 6 to get to my office, it’s raining for the hundredth day in a row and I have a stubborn pimple in the middle of my face 🙃 But then the rain held up a little as I walked to the bus and then I saw that this video was posted and now I have something to kill the travel time with, thank you! 🙏 maybe you turned my day around?

I think the word you were looking for to describe the stone floor piece often seen in a church tomb is a ledger stone. Another possibility is a plinth is the pedestal base on a typical headstone grave or tomb. Tombs usually either have more decorative ledger stone or have much larger, and decorative, plinths. Both may have effigies that sit on top of them. Hope this helps! :) Lovely build and super realistic too!

Fantastic build ❤. Just a suggestion for the tomb. Raise the coffin so it is just under the floor. Then use the glass flooring tile so you can look into his grave.

Probably get in trouble for this now a days, and got to remember my family was living on a military base.... but my mom used to drop me and my brother off at the library at least 2x´s a week while she went to run errands. We LOVED it!!!! We also got to stay up an extra 30 minutes if it was in bed reading =) I love my parents drive for us to be well-read, we both are still avid readers 📙 📙

How to tell that I'm not religious without telling that I'm not religious: I had absolutely no idea what a vicker was or that churches could have so much stuff in it before this build (I don't even know if I'm writing this correctly tbh sorry for that eng is my second language). Not that those things doesn't exist around here is just that I was never interested in it, part of my family is very catholic and used to attend the church for a lot of different reasons that I don't actually know because I never asked, I bet some went to AA meetings and stuff. That's why I love this and the let's build the world series, I feel so enlightened after each video 😂

for the crypt/masoleum in the basement, you could've raised a small platform, adorned it with some of the tombstones and small architectural details you used on the exterior, and lots of flowers. that would've looked really nice.

We had what was called the accelerated reading program. You had to read a certain number of books each month and you did comprehension tests after you finished each book and you were given a reading level to determine how well you read. If you read a certain number of books or managed to raise your score you got awards and things

Gosh, I'm old, but (old hag voice:) 40 years ago when I was in Sunday School (Finland, evangelic lutheran) we had kid sized table and chairs around it. Teacher would read us a tale from the bible and then we would draw a picture about it or do some arts and crafts according to the time of the year or whatever celebrations were coming. And we would talk about the story so we would learn morals from it. For xmas and spring we would do some kind of performances to our parents. And now I'm a pagan.

“Science and religion don’t mix very well”…. I used to be a Wildlife Educator, going into schools with exotic animals to teach them about ecology, climate change, etc. I once had a 2-day booking to teach evolution, but with a point in the email stating “we’re a Catholic school so teach evolution of just the dinosaurs, but don’t mention Darwin, don’t mention suggested age of the Earth” and points to that affect. Genuinely one of the most perplexing bookings I ever had.
