Hi, I have also an issue with an a1706 and have a question, when measuring with amp meter only 5v and amp varies between 0.13 and 0.25 amp pp3v3 G3H is present and ppbus main rail also but doesn't get 20V and obviously doesn't charge too and to me the four cd3215 looks all fine (usbc ports doing all the same thing, no anomalities). do you have any suggestion. the only visual thing I noticed is that C3208 looks a bit burned but seems to work fine -, it is not shorted and I am measuring 3v at that cap please any suggestion would be very welcome! thanks in advance!

1.Check the current on the front and back of each type-c, is there any individual difference. 2.If no problem is detected, read the address bus with an oscilloscope

Nice!!! Like! Did you remove another corrosion and replaced corroded R's ans C's? Wich power supply do you use (for showing measurements on computer)?

Yes, the Apple power supply is connected to a C-type current detector.
