I have yet to use my FT-70 with a hotspot because I camp out on DMR. I like that Illinois-Link is bridged to YSF and D-Star so folks can find me through any of the big 3. You just gave me a reason to get a second hotspot configured on YSF. Not sure I’ll have it up and ready by Saturday but hopefully the net continues beyond this weekend. I know I could dork with my setup and use YSF instead of DMR momentarily or some folks have both running with mixed results. I think having instant capabilities for both Brandmeister DMR and YSF would be helpful therefore a second hotspot!

Lesson learned. The local repeater 20 miles away supports C4 FM but it’s not connected to wires X back to the drawing board for next week.

Gah! It's opening weekend for duck season in Texas! Maybe I'll be home in time, if things either go very well, or very poorly. Or i can bring my OpenSpot along and check in from the road!

I have DMR and HR that might reach the middle of the state from the east side 1.5 hours away. Now I have to research wiresx and ysf modes.

If you have an Openspot 3 or 4, you can cross mode your DMR radio to YSF. I don't know about any other hotspots.

Will I be able to do this with D-74 and ZUM hot spot??
