Let's go to the Farm Auction! What do I buy?

I learned of a farm auction about an hour from our home that may have some items we needed so I hooked up the Trailer and headed out! What could I find? #chuppsauction, #ram, #gopro

Enjoyed going to the auction with you sorry you didn’t get anything but a bottle of water. It’s getting harder and harder to find a good deal on anything anymore. Great video.

Thank you...the only thing I might have been able to win without feeling like I got totally reamed was the pallet forks...the cattle panels could have been had for $95 but cheap exhaust pipe tubing panels in that used a condition should have been $50 max! We buy new cattle panels 12’ long made of rectangular steel with legs and chain connections for $110...you can see them in every cattle video I have on my channel...

I'll take the HumV, lawn mower, skid steer, and that dual axle trailer with the white toolboxes...but not sure about those prices! 😱😜🤣

It was crazy! The hay trailer was at $3100 with online bids before the auction started which is about where it should have ended but $4700😳

Well at least you went and didn't regret not going. Some people have stupid $ and they aren't so smart with it. You know what, I am proud of you for not getting caught up in it and holding your common sense about it all. Fun to go to the Auction! 😊😊

I use to love auctions the last one I went to I knew the couple that the stuff belong to I was interested in a push mower it was clean look like it had never been used the auctioneer said they had started it and it ran good so I bided on it a man ran it up higher to where you could have bought a new one but I ended up with it carried it home my son mowed one time with it I also learned the guy that was biding against me was working for the family to run the stuff up and I ended up buying a new one anyway

Hi Patsy. Unfortunately, that happens green at auctions. It’s a shame. I understand people not wanting to give it a way, but I don’t understand running the bid up over new cost.

Very discouraging for sure. I have gotten into bidding wars before and regretted it so once I realize the other bidder won’t quit before it’s out of sight I just walk away...

Hi Drew! Thanks for thinking of me but I have about 8 or 9 of those already and a few 455’s as well. I bought a bunch of stuff like that when it was easy to find and cheap!

Thank you Drew...I saw some stuff in your video that Pontiac would fit! Notable things I have had with Pontiac engines that weren’t Pontiacs was a 1965 El Camino, a 77 Chevy Pickup, and an 81 AMC Spirit!

Johnny with our luck you shouldn’t have went prepared to bring something home. You should have went in the Honda and we would have gotten a heck of a deal on a hay hauler. 😂

people aren't very smart these days. It seems like people lost their minds or something. People will pay brand new prices for old stuff. I would love to have those old tractors and jeep.

The Willy’s was cool and ran like a top from what I saw. I think it was worth the $ spent. We just have other things we need more so I was holding out for that kind of stuff.

A friend of mine also sez "there are people out there with money and they are just dying to give it away" Auction bidding can turn into a 'feeding frenzy' and some do not want to lose. Be it to they just don't want "that guy" to have it or..... I get a kick out of the auctioneer saying "you are the winning bidder." No, I am the "high" bidder. If I won the bid would it not be free? Not b*tchin', just saying what I think. Still love me an auction! Thanks for posting, helps me with my auction withdrawals as I live in SE ND and it will be a few weeks yet before our first outdoor sale.
