I’ve been going to country concerts my whole life. Saw Zach Bryan and easily one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen. The way he worked the crowd was effortless. Surprised he didn’t get a nod for entertainer of the year.

I feel like group of the year has been the same 5 people for the past 5 years, and 99% of the time it's Old Dominion who wins. They have it so easy. No one else in the group space has been doing anything interesting, and they're the only ones with radio hits, so they've been almost guaranteed the win for a few years now. And yeah, we have groups coming out of Texas but it kinda shocks me that we haven't gotten any from Nashville in a while.

Just recently listened to the new Dan + Shay album, and was completely floored. Who would have ever expected such awesome music from the same guys who did 10000 hours? And I know Grady isn't the hugest music video guy, but the video for We Should Get Married was one of the best music videos Ive seen

Cojo is the only option for male vocalist of the year and should be nominated and win entertainer of the year , the guy actually sounds country and is the most talented energetic entertainer in country music rn if you disagree you don’t know country music

Here are some of my predictions. I think "Fast Car" will win Single and Song of the Year, "Bell Bottom Country" for Album of the Year, Jelly Roll for New Artist, Lainey for Female Vocalist, Luke for Male and Entertainer of the Year, Brothers Osborne for Vocal Duo, Old Dominion for Vocal Group and "Wait in the Truck" for Musical Event and Video of the Year. I even compared "Fast Car" to "Need You Now" winning Single of the Year in 2010, simply because it was an unexpected crossover smash, peaking at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spending 5 weeks at #1 on the Country Airplay charts.

Idk i dont understand the hate (not saying Grady is) on Luke having a popular cover song. I Will Always Love You (Whitney Houston version) won a Grammy. I mean I understand Lukes version isn't as good but that doesnt take away his delivery or Chapmans masterful writing.

Super successful Vegas Residency and Headlined her own Arena tour of which over $420,000 was donated to Tunnels 2 Towers are just a couple of things. She’s been around almost a couple decades but she still puts butts in seats.

Saw Lainey Wilson at the NYS Fair for the price of a $6 entry ticket and let me tell you, it was a great show. She really deserves all the nods she's got here. Definitely surprised at the lack of ZB nods given the full on hysteria surrounding him right now (and I enjoy him too). Also, how is Parker McCollum a "new" artist? Am I missing something?

Award shows are basically irrelevant, except for TV ratings. I have been been a member of both the CMA and ACM in the past. The industry gets to vote, not the fans. Not even based on sales or tour revenue, which are the real yardsticks. It's an event...a big show produced to drive ratings.

Entertainer should be “most buzz” or “biggest tour”. Single should be chart success and Song should by lyrics. I also hate Group and Duo, they’re the same people every year. They should combine the category

@@LenaRay-px3iw I saw her in St. Louis November 7th last year. She is an excellent singer and performer. But Entertainer of The Year should go to someone who has had a spectacular year on the charts and brought something unique to country music that year. She’s been out since 2005.

@@reecee2941 - ENTERTAINER OF THE YEAR The Award is for the act displaying the greatest competence in all aspects of the entertainment field. Voter should give consideration not only to recorded performance, but also to the in-person performance, public acceptance, leadership, and overall contribution to Country Music. This is the criteria for entertainer of the year. I copied it from the CMA website. Carrie is more than qualified and has been deserving of ETOY for the last 15 years yet has never won despite being one of the most well known, best-selling artists in the genre with 80 million albums sold, 30 number one songs, a phenomenal live entertainer including huge tours and an extremely successful Vegas residency and has been influential in popularizing the genre on the global music stage.
