I see some people have already mentioned some of Corey's rhythm courses on Truefire, etc. Just want to throw in my two cents worth: GET THEM ALL!!! His lead courses are great, too, but I think there's no better rhythm guitar teacher out there (Robben Ford's are good, too, but they're more at a Master Class level, IMHO). It's hard to find rhythm courses, period, because there's just not much interest in it compared to lead playing. The content and presentation of Corey's rhythm videos are so fun and sound so good, it could almost make someone prefer being a rhythm guitarist over a lead player...almost. Let me stress again, his lead courses are great, too. I've got several, and they've helped me a ton. I wish this stuff had been around when I started playing back in the 1970's...Maybe I'd have become the monster player I've always dreamed of being. Rhythm Factory - Texas Blues, 30 Blues Rhythms You Must Know, and Blues Guitar Fakebook - Rhythm Edition.

Way big thanks for that video. Great example of why we need teachers. I know those chords and licks, but not the way you showed it. Beautiful, melodic, and so many more possibilities to use what you showed in different ways. Corey you're a great player, and thanks so much for sharing.

It's always a great pleasure getting to tackle anything Corey teaches on YT or TrueFire as he's always prepared with pertinent material and delivers his lessons with excitement and in such a friendly upbeat manner. I've known Mr. Congilio for over a decade now and he's probably tired of hearing my same praises by now but Corey's lessons have actually gotten even tighter and fun and I consistently keep feeling this same way when I come away (this lesson is a prime example) more confident and happy with my own playing! Awesome lesson! These blues teachings are the best for me at this time, 🎸 I spent about 2 - 3 weeks everyday learning the entire rhythm section of S.R.V' s Marry Had A Little Lamb 🐑 & it was tricky. Megadeth, Metallica, Iron Maiden was what I used to learn, but aside from Guns & Roses the Blues are infectious for me now, & once you, as Slash said connect your 1st lick best feeling, (he said something like that). Thank you! 🎶

Corey, thanks again!! Another great lesson, this time on a slow minor blues. I practice every day on your tremendously helpful tips and I've achieved so much more confidence as to playing solo... I'm 67 years old, I'm definitely not a beginner, since I started playing guitar when I was eleven and I explored many musical aspects from classical to bossa nova, so I have no problem even with difficult chords. But soloing has always been my weak point and with your lessons I'm gradually overcoming that!
