I never watched GX, so I was clueless until the first clip of the Mammoth itself. The accent is so recognizable that even someone like me, who never saw the show, got the reference with just ONE clip (from the show itself).

You should add a bonus 10 packs to that secret pack every time someone passes it up. Assault mode might not be playable with 20 packs, but it's probably playable with like 50 or 60

You could open 100 of that pack, and it would still be brick city. Assault Mode just doesn't work as it's own deck. If Farfa cant get to Stardust, the deck doesn't do anything of note You would need some consistency cards like E Tele for Farfa to even have a shot

@@MiyaoMeow588assault mode isn't meant to be ran as a deck itself but as a splashable pieces to other decks. But they still suck either way and make decks bricky.

It is playable. He just got absurdly bad luck. He has 6 cards total to act as a starter and a draw 2 . The odds of not getting sentinel or reflector in your opening hand so many times in a row is astronomical.

I like this idea, giving more edge to the less desirable packs. Although for something like Assault mode that kinda need more cards from outside the pack then maybe adding a rule to allow trading the bonus 10 packs for some non-UR crafts instead might be a good way to help these packs.

i like that you guys went for more than the 2 games. i think it would be nice to keep doing it in the future when a match is too one sided but not cuz the decks are bad but because of someone bricking. i know MBT and cimo do a game 3 just for fun sometimes in history of jank/yugioh and i think it would be cool if you do it on roulette when it makes sense to do so

Farfa should've went for the deal, but instead of getting 10 extra packs, he gets 3 crafts of E Tele. He'll basically never brick that way. Turboing out Stardust Dragon Assault Mode on turn 1 is basically an FTK in this exact format (Doug probably knows this and likely would've rejected that deal anyway, but might as well try c:)

The thing to remember about Assault Mode is that two thirds of their cards were printed in the 5Ds era. The later support is amazing. Everything before it is a brick wall. At the very least, we finally got that secret pack out of the way.

Crystal Beasts don't do that much without the new support. But between not doing much and doing nothing, they sure were enough for the job. Doung cheering with Farfa as he finally got a starter on board was just the best thing ever. Also happy birthday Doug!

when you really think about it crystal beast are like lands in mtg. you get only 1 a turn an and need them to activate your spell traps, it's just that full power assault mode could beat a mtg deck if if you held a gun at its head

Conclave Control even with shoddy traps and patching it up with the shitty CB destructions even is probably better than all the Roulette decks left (unless you pull 0 pegasus/conclave, then it's not Conclave Control). It's just bizarrely consistent. Just drawing Conclave alone in sealed duels with a CB on board literally makes you invincible if they don't have an out.
