Mutant Chronicles is based on a Swedish tabletop rpg of the same name, which was a spiritual successor to a line of Post-APoc/Cyberpunk rpgs called Mutant...But Mutant Chronicles was pretty obviously a W40K-clone, so thinking it's a 40K game is pretty spot on.

Skeleton Warriors is...The example of 90's animation in its purest form, so pretty bad, but it has heart. The best part is theme and the Tony Jay narration.

Back in the day when this game was released, I recall it actually getting good reviews and receiving solid marketing. While it may seem to be forgotten nowadays, it was fairly mainstream in its day.

When i was a kid i was at a sears video game section and a lady was asking the man working there which of these two games was the popular one to buy for her son as a christmas gift. DOOM or doom troopers. He did not know. I told the lady all the kids wanted doom troopers. to this day i imagine that poor kid opening his present on christmas morning. seeing the word DOOM and getting all excited. Until he saw the word 'troopers'. It was easily the most fucked up hateful thing I ever did.

Idk why, but the fact that this game was rated KA (basically the E for Everyone at the time), and had blood in it annoys me with how inconsistent the ESRB is. I've seen M rates games at the time with less blood lol.

When I saw Skeleton Warriors on the ps1 I almost thought it was a game base on a album cover not the band or music, but the art cover of a music album. and I think only a few games did that concept. That Hover Bike section... jeez it's no Star Fox... Yeah this game looks abit dated being to dark, the only good looking 2.5D would be Klonoa and Xenogears as they're more colorful and anime like and everything stand out from each other, then being to dark and a blending mess together, like Skeleton Warriors and Twisted Metal 1.

Pirates of Dark Water was NOT a good game on the Super Nintendo! It will give you sad times! Use the sega version instead!
