Every Pokémon has an ability, and every generation introduces a handful of new ones. Today, I discuss some ability ideas I came up with for my fakemon region, Croneo.

My idea for night shift is having either a nighttime weather or a "lunar terrain". Which could work as a way to set up the night effect better and it would turn the ability to something like quark drive. Just a weird little idea.

I’ve always had this idea for a Pokémon game where the in game information is limited because it takes place in the past so the types given are inaccurate like mechanically ot works the same but Pokémon of both rock and ground are just called stone type because whoever made the dex doesn’t know better. A mystic type for ghost psychic dragon and fairy.

New Pokémon ability idea: multi Hand can hold two held items. The usefulness of this ability is dependent on the creativity of the trainer ranging from pointless to game breaking

the abilities of the fire-water-grass starter trio are quite busted and, if this were made into a game, would make most battles trivial depending on the moves the starters learn

I assume you mean in competitive? I did say they were hidden abilities

in any sense really. it'd make a whole lot of sense if the hidden abilities could only be obtained in the late/postgame

Amazing abilities but personally I can see some being balanced a bit. 1. For the starters hidden abilities too balance them they should all have a 30% or 50% to activate (still pretty op) 2. Hydro Power should definitely be a 1 stage increase 3. Gamble with time is stupidly overpowered and should be a 1 stage increase which is 33%, any more would make them near unkillable 4. Thunderstorm is awesome jsut wanted to point that out

Gamble with time is a cool concept, and an interesting way of balancing it with the fact that they’re legendary Pokémon.

Spectre would be cool as a HA for the Rotom Appliances, with base Rotom getting Prankster on that slot.

I thought of a fighting type ability called Jab which gives priority to physical moves under 60 base power

Calcify says Flying-type. It's a minor mistake though I thought you should be aware of it.

Either way it's not really entering a zen-like state so a new ability made sense

@@CroneoRegion yea, I didn’t mean to reuse zen mode for that Pokémon. Just that when explaining what the new ability does, zen mode might help others to understand how it functions. 👍
