You can’t have enough burp cloths! Great job. Congratulations on the new baby and graduating from PA school. Two of my children are PA’s (one at Mayo ER and one in neurology) and love it.

I love that you found the Niffler pattern! I bought it a while ago and havent gotten around to it. My husband came up with a great idea: Dunder Niffler. I am going to make a Niffler and then make a Dwight costume for it to wear and tuck office supplies in the Niffler pouch. I can't wait!

PA is a master’s degree. It’s the medical equivalent of nurse practitioner. She has to go to college first, lol. Maybe, you meant medical assistant? That’s just a certificate program.

I don't own a serger yet. I really enjoyed watching you teach Emily how to use the serger as I learned some tips when I finally buy a serger.

I make my burp cloths 9" x 14". Some I use terry cloth on the back with flannel or I use a print on one side and a solid flannel on the other side.
@Ella-494 жыл бұрын
Great job. Just a tip using flannel in the future, it shrinks a lot so it is always best to buy more yardage than you need and pre-wash and dry it before sewing.

Round your corners ahead of time, then sew them with right sides together around all sides but leave an opening to turn it right side out. After you turn it right side out, lay it flat and close the opening with a hand stitch or a topstitch.

next episode....how to make a bandage for a finger cut on a serger!!!
@Jaded69114 жыл бұрын
Y'all only look related. She looks like me trying to hold things with no basket. Im only going to grab a few things. Yeah ok.....😁. She did great. She needs to do a blanket. Burp cloths are too small for her lead foot. I have one too and can't seem to ease up. 🤷🏽♀️🤣🤣
@Kate987554 жыл бұрын
Suggestion for joanns...take a number immediately, then take another if your number is close but you’re not done 😏, could imagine Laurens face when sis dropped the fbomb😂, wish i had a serger, makes this cute project go fast, best wishes for all the moments to come!

OMG that is so funny I was in Joann's the other day and my number was 51 the one that they were waiting on was 40 so I kept walking around, I think there were like 6 women getting their fabrics cut. So I keep an eye on the line and the numbers and 15 minutes later nothing has changed. So I go back to looking and come back there is different people getting their fabric cut and the number is not changed. I say something to the employee she says " Oh yea we don't use the numbers" WHAT?? Waiting for 40 minutes for nothing. Get it together people.
@LaurenMormino4 жыл бұрын
Omg ew!!!

Ugh so stupid. I can understand not using the number tickets if there are only a handful of people in the entire store but when there is a line at the cut counter 😡 ! I would have complained to a manager.

@sandpiperca47224 жыл бұрын
They will be much prettier if you round the corners, sew them right sides together and turn inside out leaving an opening and turn right side out and topstitch the hole closed. You would have gotten way better service at a quilt shop, with pleasant staff.

That baby will be throwing up if you show it sushi after its just filled it's belly with milk! Just the thought of it is making me queasy!! 😩
