This is super similiar to how I eq my xm8500, especially in the top end. I would say your bass boost is too much, just leave the high pass on and 214hertz dip. The bump it creates already acts as a boost to the ear. You can set the Q differently to raise the bump closer to 0db, but not more then that. (not a professional) You are wrong about the human voice however lol. Bass voices typically go down to 80 hertz, and 54 hertz is common for low bass's. But some low bass singers go down to like 30. The bulk of my regular talking voice is around 75 As far as I know you want to watch the equalizer graphic and see where the first low end bumps are when you talk. The center of that is where you make the dip. And high pass everything before your lowest bump

Thanks for the helpful tips and info on human voice! I'll have to try that next time. Last time I checked, DaVinci doesn't have any way to view an equalizer graphic. Do you use another software?
