I tried out the Behringer XM8500 (handheld dynamic cardioid microphone), which I've heard about for a while now as an incredibly sounding mic for its price point. After trying it out in this video, I can see why it has such a positive reputation. There aren't any glaring problems with it that I've been able to identify thus far and the audio from it sounds very comparable to prices 3 times its price. I also noticed that the audio sounds way better once KZfaq compression hits and if you listen with something like AirPods. Very, very impressed.
