The Let's Move Resistance Band Workout series is formed of three tailored sessions to help you strengthen the main muscle groups: the legs, arms, shoulders and back. Fitness professional Leon Wormley is joined by his Mum Janet who lives with arthritis as they demonstrate the exercises in these follow-along videos especially designed for people living with arthritis. In this first 20 minute video they demonstrate exercises to strengthen the upper body and provide tips on gripping the band.

I really like your exercises, but have a couple of suggestions it might be worth including. Firstly include that not all resistance bands are equal -I started unknowingly with the heavy resistance band and was really struggling with the exercises as I’m riddled with arthritis. Secondly I might add the importance of staying hydrated during exercise and encourage a sip of water between sets. Lastly it would be good to provide a link where you can buy the Versus Arthritis band you use - plus I would be interested in how to know when it’s time to move up a band colour rather than just repeating sets or adding reps. I hope this is helpful 😊

It's really helpful as 12 weeks post op after hip replacement. Might feel a bit stiff 😮tomorrow 😊
