Hello I am Suzanne, I am a small scale flower farmer and florist located in Devon in the Uk zone 8B.
I grow on a small cut flower plot of 16 square metres, and also have a cottage style garden.
I grow my flowers to sell predominantly as pre ordered retail bouquets and also provide florals for small events.
I grow without the use of chemicals, and try to garden in away that benefits nature.
My channel is very casual and low tech with all filming and editing being done by myself, content is a real mix of both gardening, cut flower production and floristry.
In this video I take the blank canvas in the new polly tunnel and create beds for planting and install drip irrigation. I also pot up the Dahlia cuttings from the hydroprophagater.

I think it will be a real benefit in early spring, providing the voles don’t take up residence in there.

Lovely catch up Yay! polytunnel up and running. I have one on my never ending wish list. Slugs have been a real nemesis this year some of them are enormous even the hedgehogs don't seem interested in eating them. I can't quite bring myself to cut them in half so I throw them over the hedge pretty sure they find their way back 😆Look forward to seeing how everything grows and your fabulous floral creations. A friend of mine painted a whole load of snails and recorded colours and which day he threw them and sure enough they all found their way back. Harder to mark a slug though 🙈. My chickens are not interested no more either. Good luck.
