Unlike previous games where you could unlock these planes via completing different missions, buying them from hangar, destroying stuff in game,(like how to unlock the Falken in AC5) different endings, or completing the game under different conditions and/or a certain number of times, you have to pay for the good stuff...

How could have that even worked? The missiles are heat seeking, and she was insulated in a space-suit-like mechanic outfit. Even without that the human body does nothing compared to a jet engine to "grab the missile's interest". He simply frantically tried to break away and Cosette came down at the wrong time. But tipical anime-cutscene-fashion. You don't have time to react, but can remember your entire life's story in a nanosecond. For Count it was just a perfectly articulated swearing during high-G maneuvers. Still kinda weird. But he just got missile'd on a non-critical area with the blast close enough to knock Cosette's helmet off.

nope I can see them moving when in low engine mode, when the engine opens up due to high throttle thrust vectoring becomes a waste of energy but when the nozzles are smaller I can see them move. have a look at 13:06 -12 i can see them move then

based on my understanding according to what the professor said, I think most belkans got indoctrinated that they need to get their sweet revenge against Osea (I say Osea because it somewhat always involved in the wars belkans created after the belkan war...) at all cost since they were told it was their "destiny"...

Yeah, it's the same plot over again, Belka being behind everything and even having Erusean youngsters creating a mess... the same thing with Osea being the good guy. I thought we would see for once a drastic plot twist (and I thought so for the first couple of missions where we could see how the world saw Osea military presence around the world as not pleasant) . No refreshing plot ideas from Project Aces I guess...

@JDS12451 when they refer to the previous wars however, with very few exceptions they only mention the ones Osea fought, that means the one with Yuktobania and the Belkan war. Building odd of this, his squadron at one point calls him "King" and he clearly isnt happy about it. King as in Lord as in Demon Lord. Belkan War+Top Ace+his old age+the reference to his old title=Cipher

Do take note that these country is not a direct representative of the real world counterpart. They are analogously similar, but not the same to our world. Belka is similar World war 2 Nazi German. Try play or watch the walkthrough of Ace combat zero and Ace combat 5 to know the origin of why Belka got this status as the colluder of war. In ace combat lore, Russia's analogous comparison is both Yuktobania and Estovakia, with the later one was based from a mix of Romania and Soviet Union. Osea, the country mentioned is based off USA and Japan, since their armed force; "Osean Self Defense Force" is a direct comparison of our world's Japanese Self Defense Force.
