Well this game was a lot of fun. I mean, Dom was obviously having the plague and he was rightfully outed for it, Izzy was hysterical for sure ('If you ignore the one time I betrayed you in this game, I have not betrayed you." What? Amazing) and Adam desperately trying to convince everyone he is not a plaguerat of his own right even with the way he forced his way into their cart, Laurie being the one who gave Dom the plague (that was amazing!), I love it all. I also love these games that put Adam in this position, where everyone is suspicious of him and he is desperately trying to claw his way into their good graces because I usually never know if he is actually good or bad unless it is in some way obvious.

Deadwood (an installment on the same series of board games as Bristol) was the first gamble I took when starting to play boardgames, and I started to do so because of this channel. Now I have the full collection (Tortuga, Salem, Bristol and Deadwood) and just really love playing them. Thanks to all of you..

Thinking back to the first game of Blood on the Clocktower... then looking at how they work so hard to backstab each other now. Thought they did this to show how much fun board games could be... not how it can make everyone at the table slightly evil than they arrived. Bloody great game though, Hope they play it again with the extra powers later on. Could use a new game of Nemesis again too...

This seems like a really fun game, though the card part of it seems only half thought through. Seems weird having people hand back cards because they’ve been given ones they can’t start with, and having to rely on the honour system at the end.

The honour system bugs me. I think I'd ask players to take a photo of their cards after every mingling, so they could reveal their status dramatically at the end. Ideally the cards would be redesigned to allow players to keep what they had at each stage for the reveal, but that's difficult without changing the mingling mechanic completely.

I've played this one a lot and the honour system is its one big drawback. None of my friends cheat, but the fact that it is unverifiable makes the big reveal less spicy. I feel like it needs an extra component, not sure what that might be though!

@@robwebster4768 feel like even writing in down in secret and then revealing your notepaper at the end would help. Obviously you could lie and write down the wrong number but since you don’t know at point of writing which team will win, there would be less incentive. And from a purely fun point of view, then you would remember exactly when you got the plague.

@@naomil7830 Yeah, a lil scorepad would definitely be helpful! I feel like you could alternatively do something with each player secretly putting infected/healthy tokens in the cloth bag each time you mingle - as you say, there'd be no motive to lie when you get the plague because you might still cross the finish line with it?? Your way is probably simpler!
