Tell him he needs to shorten the sequence on the thrill ride!!!! So he can get more people on it, reduce queue time, and get more money!!!

Now that you've got more thrill rides, I'd research first aid. Charging a dollar, if not two dollars, you may be able to offset your janitor's wages. Place the first aid station at the exit of the ride people get sick on most to maximize profits.

Hey James, you need to be careful when you delete things... there is a refund percentage. which means you loose money when you delete items, and because this is hard mode you only only get back 25% of the original price back, when in easy mode its 75%. So you really need to make sure you want that item and you place it right where you want it, if can't be moved. I noticed you were confused by the percentage in the first part. Good luck!! (example: Buy a 3000 ride and only get back 750 if you delete it)

The problem is you have 2 food store next to each other, makes it competitive, so one loses out when the other does well

Fun Fact: I added to much staff to my sandbox park so they all got unhappy quickly because they felt like they weren't important.

Flabs - for the love of Chief Beef and King Coaster - do NOT sell stuff you just put in - you are losing 75% of the cost. Just use friggin undo (CTRL-Z) - that will undo you even buying it, thus giving you back 100% of the cost rather than 25%.

Hi James! I've been watching The Sim Supply for a while and I love it! Sneaked in on Flabaliki and noticed Planet Coaster! I honestly did not know that this game existed. I love theme park games but I have not played one since Theme Park Inc in early 2000's so I got so excited and bought the game myself. So thank you now I am super excited for a new game to play! researching information and getting fast path will allow you to make money of all the people complaining about long/slow queues it will really help you expand you income especially for you next awesome coaster. Like so he sees it as it will help.

the reason you lose money when the ride breaks down is because guests pay for their ticket at the start of the que when they all leave the que it refunds their ticket. loving the series, these challenge modes are a lot of fun! :)

Hey James I think the reason that your ride says that it has negative lifetime profit AND the reason you immediately lose a bunch of money as soon as the ride breaks down and people start leaving is because there's a big cost when your ride breaks down. If you look in the Management tab under Financial you can see that there will be a big Ride Maintenance cost each time a ride breaks down and it needs to be fixed. I believe there's also a Ride Maintenance cost each time a ride is inspected/maintained.

I got this game Black Friday sale, and this video is helpful. I only played it once so far. Really good scenery. I don't want to do that much detailing, but I see it was to hit those goals for hard mode.

Okay the thing with family tickets, at least related to how it works in real life, a group of friends might be willing to pay $2 each because the $2 comes from each individually so a group of 4 still only pays $2 each, from their own individual budgets, but a family group is paying from one pool of funds, so it's not really $1 each it's $4 for a family of 4 - coming from one budget, so while it's cheaper per member than an individual ticket collectively it's more and it can be more expensive for a family in that sense. I would guess that's why the family walked away from the park, plus you don't even have any family rides yet. I would say if you made a family ticket a quarter of what you made a standard ticket they might be more willing to pay. Just my best guess.

Wow! Your the best I've seen at this game (Even if I haven't seen many) Still your so good, I would go to your park!

I think that when you build something it counts in the monthly profit so for example when you build a ride worth 800 it is gonna count in the monthly profit... so it will be 800 less... im not sure but it would make a lot of sence...

Two things: 1-The money 'disappears' when the ride breaks because the cost of having the staff and the shops (people leave the park when there are no rides, so nobody buy at the shops) surpasses the profit you get. That's why regular mantenience is good, because people still buy tickets, and still buy at the shops because the ride is technically still open. 2- The monthly balance is negative sometimes because it takes into account not only the monthly costs but also everything you spend in that month. For instance, when you built the queue, it took into account the money you spent on it and therefore the monthly balance was negative.

The thing about the money, is that the guests pay for the ride entrance when they get in line. So if they're standing in line you already have their money. But if the ride breaks, they'll go back and get their entrance money back. That's why you "lose" a bunch of money when the ride breaks.

When you realised you had enough money, you shouted so loud it scared away a bird in my back garden.

The carousel design reminds me sooo much of the Alice in Wonderland maze at Disneyy 😂

This series is super entertaining, but the problem is challenge mode is that once you get two rides money is literally not a problem anymore. I started on hard and after one failed try, I have about $20,000 and I almost can't build coasters fast enough to spend it all.

Not sure if you figured it out yet, but when the rides break down, you have to refund all the tickets. Thats where your money goes. You should also look at referbishing parts to make the ride last longer
